摘要: A method of determining the temperature inside a combustion liner without making a direct measurement of the actual temperature. The technique is based on a measurement of the frequency of one of the transverse acoustic modes occurring inside the combustion chamber. The frequency is determined from the transverse geometric dimensions of the combustion chamber and the speed of sound in the gas inside the combustion chamber. The speed of sound in the gas is known from thermodynamics to be a function of gas temperature and gas properties. Thus, from a measurement of the resonant frequency and knowing the combustor dimensions and gas properties, the temperature can be determined with accuracy.

摘要: A system for suppressing combustion instability in a turbomachine includes at least one combustion chamber operatively connected to the turbomachine, and at least one pre-mixer mounted to the at least one combustion chamber. The at least one pre-mixer is configured to receive an amount of fuel and an amount of air that is combined and discharged into the at least one combustion chamber. In addition, the turbomachine includes a combustion instability suppression system operatively associated with the at least one pre-mixer. The combustion instability suppression system is configured to create a combustion asymmetry. The combustion asymmetry facilitates combustion instability suppression in the turbomachine.

摘要: A mounting structure for an in-vehicle power battery may be provided. The mounting structure may comprise an upper cover (3), a suspension tray (1) and a bracket (2) for supporting at least a peripheral bottom portion of the suspension tray (1). The suspension tray (1) may be hermetically connected with the upper cover, forming a sealed space for receiving the power battery. The bracket (2) may be detachably fixed to a bottom surface of a body floor in a vehicle. Further, a vehicle (100) comprising the mounting structure described above is also provided.

摘要: An acoustic dampener comprises a first wall, orifice plate, and second wall. The first wall separates a first fluid source from a second fluid source. The first wall has a hole for allowing fluid communication between the first fluid source and a first cavity of the acoustic dampener. The office plate separates the first cavity of the acoustic dampener from a second cavity of the acoustic dampener. The second wall has a hole for allowing fluid communication between the first cavity of the acoustic dampener in the second cavity of the acoustic dampener. The second wall separates the second cavity of the acoustic dampener from the second fluid source. The second wall has a hole for allowing fluid communication between the second cavity of the acoustic dampener and the second fluid source. In one embodiment, the acoustic dampener is formed in a combustion chamber liner of a gas turbine engine.

摘要: A combustor for a gas turbine engine and related method is provided in which a plurality of combustor cans are selectively adapted with corresponding resonators. The resonators may, for example, be attached to every can in the consecutive arrangement of combustor cans, every other can, every third can or the like, and may be tuned to the same or first, second, third, etc. frequencies of operation. Such selective tuning is configured to suppress one or more of out-of-phase and in-phase dynamic interaction of streams discharged from adjacent combustor cans by changing the frequencies of pressure oscillation instabilities across the arrangement of consecutive cans.
