摘要： An image processing apparatus implements a plurality of functions and includes a display device. The plurality of functions include a function belonging to a first group and a function belonging to a second group. A selection accepting unit accepts selection of any of the first group and the second group. A first display control unit causes the display device to display on a display screen, a plurality of first keys corresponding to respective functions belonging to the first group, regardless of which of the first group and the second group has been selected. A second display control unit causes, when the second group is selected, the display device to display in a second region of the display screen other than a first region where the first keys are displayed, second keys corresponding to respective functions belonging to the second group.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an operation panel to preview an image page by page. The image forming apparatus stores a feature of an image of a page previewed on the operation panel and extracts a regularity from the stored feature of the image. When a feature of an image of a page previewed on the operation panel does not agree with the extracted regularity, the image forming apparatus displays a menu for correcting the feature that does not agree.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a display device that displays a plurality of windows having hierarchy levels in such a manner that a low-level window overlaps a high-level window, each of the plurality of windows containing a first object to close the subject window and one or more second objects to select items; an extraction portion that extracts, from one or more second objects in the high-level window, a selection candidate object that is likely to be selected by a user after the low-level window is closed; and a control portion that controls, when the extraction portion extracts the selection candidate object, the display device in such a manner that the first object in the low-level window overlaps the selection candidate object, or the first object in the low-level window is disposed close to the selection candidate object.

The apparatus determines a second security level of each group based on a first security level of each page of the corresponding group; before the specific processing on the N-th group, determines whether or not password entry is necessary based on the second security level of the N-th group and any of the second security levels of the first group through the (N−1)-th group; and performs the specific processing on the N-th group if it is determined that password entry is unnecessary for the N-th group, or, alternatively, if it is determined that password entry is necessary for the N-th group and if a password is appropriately entered.
