摘要: A protector device includes a plurality of pairs of multi-pronged elements. Each pair of multi-pronged elements includes a first multi-pronged element having a first C-shaped element that has a first straight section, a first end forming a first end spike, and a second end forming a second end spike, and a first connecting element attached to and perpendicular to the first C-shaped element. Each pair of multi-pronged elements also includes a second multi-pronged element including a second C-shaped element connected to the first connecting element of the first multi-pronged element, the second C-shape element having a second straight section, a third end forming a third end spike, and a fourth end forming a fourth end spike, and a second connecting element attached to and perpendicular to the second C-shaped element.

摘要: As shown in the figures, the compact thorny shrub comprising multiple three-pronged elements is preferably formed by a rod (1) that measures 10 cm in length and 2.8 mm in thickness, has pointed ends and is made from a combination of plastic and metal, although other lengths, thicknesses and materials are also possible. Subsequently, the ends of the rods (1) are bent at 90°, forming a bend (2) and a 2.5 cm-long end spine (3) at each end. This preform is joined to another rod (4) that measures 7.5 cm in length and 2.8 mm in thickness, has one pointed end and is bent at 900 to form a bend (2) and a 2.5 cm-long end spine (3), said rod also being made from a combination of plastic and metal, although other lengths, thicknesses and materials are also possible. This assembly forms a type of unusual three-pronged element (5) which is joined to other unusual three-pronged element (5), to the left and right as well as above and below, by means of the end spine (3) shared by the different types of unusual three-pronged elements (5), in order to form the dimensional structure of the artificial thorny shrub. The different types of unusual three-pronged elements (5) are joined such that each end spine (3) remains at a linear distance of 5 cm, or any other desired distance, from the next end spine (3) in a sequence, forming an L shape that can be oriented in any direction, facing right or left or inverted and facing right or left. The artificial thorny shrub is thus formed and in this preferred embodiment it is curved to form a cylinder having a periphery of 38 cm in diameter and a height of 100 cm from the ground. Finally, when the invention is to be used to protect land animals, plants and objects, it is secured to the ground using three clips (6) consisting of metal bars measuring 5 cm in thickness and 70 cm in width, which are fixed in the ground every 50 cm, although other sizes, thicknesses and materials are also possible, and they are secured to the structure of the artificial thorny shrub using wire or any other means.

摘要: In one embodiment, a system and method is disclosed for changing the resource availability of a particular user in a manner calculated to add the least cost to the user. A cluster of partition servers are arranges, in one embodiment, with a master controller for keeping track at any point in time as to the different licensing costs involved with different methods of adding resource capacity. When a user requires additional capacity the system calculates which of several possible resource enhancements to initiate based upon a least cost analysis.

摘要: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method groups two or more servers in a share group. The method then tracks how many rights to use a particular hardware module type are owned and in use by each of the servers. If a first one of the servers needs to activate an inactive one of the particular hardware module type, but does not own an unused right to use the particular hardware module type, the method then i) requests a second one of the servers to inactivate one of its hardware modules, thereby freeing a right to use the particular hardware module type, and ii) claims the freed right of the second server for use by the first server. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
