    摘要: A gas sensor element includes a solid electrolyte body having oxygen ion conductivity, a pair of measurement and reference electrodes respectively provided on an opposite pair of first and second surfaces of the solid electrolyte body, a porous diffusion-resistant layer through which a measurement gas is introduced to the measurement electrode, and a protective layer. The protective layer is provided to cover, at least, an outer surface of the porous diffusion-resistant layer through which the measurement gas flows into the diffusion-resistant layer. The protective layer is hydrophilic at room temperature and water-repellent at high temperatures at which the solid electrolyte body can be activated.

    摘要: A combustion pressure sensor for an internal combustion engine is provided. The sensor includes a sensing element such as a piezoelectric device sensitive to a physical load applied thereto to produce an electric signal indicative thereof and a bendable member. The bendable member is bent upon application of the combustion pressure in the engine to apply the physical load to the sensing element. Specifically, the physical load is applied to the sensing element which arises from the bend deformation of the bendable member, thus eliminating the need for a complete surface-to-surface contact between the sensing element and the bendable member. This results in a decreased unit-to-unit variation in sensitivity of combustion pressure sensors and ensures the stability of output characteristics of the combustion pressure sensor.

    摘要: An image display apparatus comprises a hologram screen 2 formed by bonding a hologram element 20 to light-transmissible films 21 and an illumination device 11 for irradiating image light 10 onto the hologram screen and reproducing an image on the hologram screen 2. The light-transmissible film 21 positioned on the irradiation side of the image light 10 relative to the hologram element 20 has an angle deviation of not greater than 45 degrees between a direction of the light-transmissible film 21 that gives the highest thermal shrinkage ratio and an axial direction in the hologram screen 2. Therefore, the image display apparatus can provide high-quality images without the superposition of an interference pattern on the images on the hologram screen.

    摘要: There is provided a hologram with excellent heat resistance. The hologram comprises a hologram film (10) in which a diffraction grating has been recorded, a substrate (11) situated on one side of the hologram film (10) via a bonding material (13), and a polymer film (12) situated on the other side of the hologram film (10) via a bonding material (13), wherein the thickness of the polymer film (12) is no greater than 100 .mu.m. Otherwise, the polymer film (12) is subjected to prior heat treatment. There is further provided a production process for holograms with minimal appearance defects. The process comprises preparing a photopolymer (210) coated onto a substrate (211) and affixing the photopolymer surface (301) onto a photographed object original (213), exposing it to laser light to converting it into a hologram (201), then releasing the hologram (201) from the photographed object original (213) to expose the hologram surface (302) and finally affixing a protective film (215) onto the hologram surface (302), such that the bonding strength A between the substrate (211) and the hologram (201) is greater than the bonding strength B between the hologram (201) and the protective film (215).
