To attain the object, the present invention provides a method of producing a volume hologram laminate using a volume hologram forming substrate which comprises: a substrate, a volume hologram layer formed on the substrate and containing a photopolymerizable material, a resin layer, formed on the substrate so as to contact to the volume hologram layer, containing a resin and a polymerizable compound, characterized in that the producing method comprises processes of: a hologram recording process to record a volume hologram to the volume hologram layer, a substance transit process of transiting the polymerizable compound to the volume hologram layer, and an after-treatment process of polymerizing the polymerizable compound.

A reversal-embossment-recording area with a reversal form of the desired hologram record by fine embossment is present on all or a portion on the side opposite to the base material of the hologram-forming layer. A portion including at least a portion of the reversal-embossment-recording area or all of said side where said hologram-forming layer has said reversal-embossment-recording area and a design-forming layer are stacked. Peelability exists between the hologram-forming layer and the design-forming layer, and a design having a hologram-recording area by fine embossment appears on the surface of the design-forming layer formed upon the peeling of the hologram-forming layer and the design-forming layer from each other.

The invention relates to a laminated glass panel incorporating therein a hologram sheet. For example, the laminated glass panel is a vehicle windshield in which the hologram sheet is used as a combiner of a head-up display. As adhesive means, the laminated glass panel uses either one sheet or two sheets of polyvinyl butyral resin (PVB) film. In the former case the hologram sheet is interposed between the PVB film and one of the glass plate and shielded from the PVB film by a transparent resin or glass film which prevents the plasticizer contained in the PVB film from transferring to the hologram sheet. In the latter case the hologram sheet is interposed between the two sheets of PBB film and shielded from each PVB film by a transparent resin or glass film having the aforementioned property. By virtue of the shielding of the hologram sheet from the PVB film, the diffraction wavelength of the hologram sheet does not significantly shift from the aimed wavelength. To prevent blurring of the holographic images, it is preferable that each transparent film for the shielding purpose has a very smooth surface at least on the side facing the PVB film.
