Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards automated and dynamic creation of a recommended treatment for a patient's medical condition. A potential treatment can be generated by application of patient data to a multimodal model representing radiomic data and pathomic data integrated with transcriptomic data. The potential treatment can be applied to a probability model to determine a risk score for the potential treatment. The probability model comprises a collection of treatments and medical conditions, in conjunction with respective measures of success of application of a respective treatment to a respective condition. The multimodal model can comprise a network of nodes and edges, wherein the nodes represent knowledge of a patient condition, medical knowledge/medical research regarding the respective patient conditions, and the like. An output of the multimodal model is one or more recommended treatments for the medical condition.

Abstract: Methods and systems are herein provided for automatic determination of display field of view (DFOV) in medical imaging. In one example, a method comprises acquiring one or more scout images of a patient with an imaging system while the patient is positioned within a scanner of the imaging system; determining a body contour of the patient based on the one or more scout images; determining a widest dimension of the body contour; determining, based on the widest dimension, a display field of view (DFOV); acquiring scan data of the patient with the imaging system; reconstructing the scan data based on the DFOV to generate one or more reconstruction images; and displaying the one or more reconstruction images on a display device communicably coupled to the imaging system, wherein the patient remains within the scanner between acquisition of the one or more scout images and the scan data.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for cleanable and sterilizable electrical connector for medical devices. A sterilizable connector may include a first shell and a second shell configured to engage one another, a nose housing that includes a mating area of the connector for engaging a corresponding mating area in a component of a medical device, and an overmolding that overmolds a combination of the first shell, the second shell, and the nose housing. Each of the first shell, the second shell, and the nose housing includes a first material that is compatible with cleaning and sterilization (C&S) treatment. The overmolding includes a second material that provides sealing of the combination of the first shell, the second shell, and the nose housing during the cleaning and sterilization (C&S) treatment. The connector is configured to enable applying at least sterilization without requiring closing or covering of the mating area of the connector.

Abstract: Systems or techniques that facilitate electronic acquisition of troubleshooting knowledge for medical imaging scanners are provided. In various embodiments, a system can access a plain text service manual and a service complaint that are associated with a medical imaging scanner. In various aspects, the system can identify, via named-entity recognition or natural language processing, a semantic hierarchy of the plain text service manual. In various instances, the system can record, via graphical user interface tracking, how a service technician that is troubleshooting the service complaint sequentially navigates through the semantic hierarchy, thereby yielding a troubleshooting trace that corresponds to the service complaint.

Abstract: A system for rendering medical images is described herein. The system can include a processor configured to obtain, using a three-dimensional cursor, a selection of a region of interest from a three-dimensional (3D) medical image. The processor can also detect a three-dimensional cursor setting for the region of interest, the three-dimensional cursor setting indicating at least a rendering setting for the region of interest. Furthermore, the processor can modify a user interface comprising the 3D medical image with the three-dimensional cursor setting applied inside the region of interest, wherein movement of the three-dimensional cursor causes a selection of a second region in the 3D medical image, wherein the second region is displayed with the rendering setting.
