摘要： The present invention relates to the use of ionic liquids as antimicrobial agents, and to the use of antimicrobial compositions comprising an ionic liquid, a film-enhancing composition and a viscosity controlling agent. The invention further relates to methods of disinfecting substrate surfaces, to substrates produced by such methods, and to novel ionic liquid compositions.
