摘要: A seat belt retractor provides a base, a ratchet plate attached to a winding shaft for winding a webbing, a ratchet member rotatable with the winding shaft in a webbing draw-out direction for locking a rotation of the winding shaft in the webbing draw-out direction by engaging a pawl with the ratchet plate, a lock arm rotatable at a first position where the lock arm engages with the ratchet plate and a second position where the lock arm does not engage with the ratchet plate, a control plate rotated corresponding to the rotation of the winding shaft, and an operation mode switching lever having a guide pin projected at a swing end portion for rotating the lock arm to the first position and the second position, the guide pin being guided by a guide groove of the control plate, in which the guide groove includes first and second cam grooves for guiding the guide pin of the operation mode switching lever so as to rotate the lock arm to the second and first position, respectively, and a switching area provided so as to connect an end point of the first cam groove to a start point of the second cam groove, and operated to deliver the guide pin to the second cam groove for switching the lock arm from the second position to the first position.

摘要: A seat belt retractor according to the present invention comprises a torsion bar 2 which is connected integrally with a bobbin 3 on one end side thereof and is connected integrally with a locking base 5 on the other end side thereof, a pawl 16 for preventing the rotation of the locking base 5 in the webbing pull-out direction thereof, a ratchet wheel 18 for bringing the pawl 16 into engagement with an engaging internal teeth 25 in a vehicle emergency, a control plate 65 which, in accordance with the winding amount of a webbing 50, positions a lock lever 55 at a first position in which the lock lever 55 is engaged with the ratchet wheel 18 and the pawl 16 is engaged with the engaging internal teeth 25 or at a second position in which the lock lever 55 is not engaged with the ratchet wheel 18, and a lock member 80 which, when the lock lever 55 is positioned at the first position, can be engaged with the ratchet teeth 3b of the bobbin 3 to thereby prevent the rotation of the bobbin 3 in the webbing pull-out direction thereof. Accordingly, it is possible to provide an improved seat belt retractor which can switch an energy absorbing mechanism between its operation condition and its non-operation condition by use of a simple structure.

摘要: In a seat belt apparatus, a first projecting portion and a second projecting portion which are capable of being brought into abutment with each other so that a switch lever is shifted from a switch OFF position to a switch ON position are provided on a side of a drive gear and a side of a first gear, respectively. A third projecting portion and a fourth projecting portion, which are capable of being brought into abutment with each other so that the switch lever is shifted from the switch ON position to the switch OFF position, are provided on the side of the first gear and a side of a second gear. An abutment position between the first and second projecting portions and an abutment position between the third and fourth projecting portions differ from each other in an axial direction of a spindle.

The angle detection device allows the interlocking member to rotate in accordance with the reclining angle of the backrest. The posture controller F is controlled by means of the rotation of the interlocking member 11 so as to keep the sensor-weight type acceleration sensor horizontal when the reclining angle is within a range where a passenger wears the seat belt and not to interlock with the angle detection device K when the reclining angle is outside of the range.

摘要: A seatbelt system is provided with a retractor, which has a retractor base provided with side plates, a bobbin, a locking member prevented from rotation in a webbing-withdrawing direction in an event of an emergency, a shaft integrally connected at an end thereof with the bobbin and at an opposite end thereof with the locking member, and a bobbin locking mechanism for preventing rotation of the bobbin in the webbing-withdrawing direction when relative rotation between the bobbin and the locking member has reached a predetermined extent. The locking member is brought into engagement with one of the side plates of the retractor base so that any further rotation of the locking member is prevented. At the same time, the bobbin is brought into engagement with the other side plate via the bobbin locking mechanism so that any further rotation of the bobbin is prevented.

摘要: It is an object to prevent end locking in which a webbing can neither be drawn out nor wound due to erroneous operation of an emergency lock mechanism at the time of retracting a belt. When almost all the webbing 50 is wound, not only a retaining wall 41c of a rotation control disc 41 regulates an engaging catch 26b of a lock arm 26 so that the engaging catch 26b does not move in the direction of engaging with an internal gear 34a of a gear case 34, but also a projection 12 arranged so as to project from a bobbin 3 engages with the lock arm 26 that is unengaged with the internal gear 34a, which in turn blocks a rachet wheel 18 from rotating with a delay with respect to the bobbin 3. As a result, a pole 16 that is operated by the rachet wheel 18 rotating with a delay with respect to the bobbin 3 is held in an inoperative condition in which the pole 16 is not engaged with engaging internal teeth 2.

The control mechanism for setting the engaging portion (56) in accordance with an amount of winding of the webbing (50) at the first position where the engaging portion (56) is engaged with the tooth (18a) of the ratchet wheel (18) and the second position where the engaging portion (56) is not engaged with the ratchet wheel (18), comprises a control plate (65) rotated in accordance with the rotation of the bobbin (3) and a locking lever (55) to push the engaging portion (56) to the first position or the second one by the elastic protrusion (46a). The control plate (65) and the locking lever (55) include an engaging protrusion (66) and a flexible engaging portion (60) to displace the locking lever (55) to the first position only when the webbing (50) is wound after the webbing has been drawn out by an amount not less than a predetermined value.

摘要: A seatbelt retractor is constructed of a ratchet wheel secured on a take-up spindle; an inertia member normally turnable with the spindle, said inertia member being, however, capable of turning relative to the spindle; a latch member provided for rotation in a webbing-releasing direction together with the spindle, whereby a pawl member can be brought into engagement with the ratchet wheel to prevent the spindle from rotating in the webbing-releasing direction; a lock device for interconnecting the latch member to the spindle when the inertia member develops a lag in rotation relative to the spindle; and a control device for shifting, depending on a wound amount of the webbing, an engaging member between a first position where the engaging member is engageable with the inertia member to prevent any further rotation of the inertia member or a second position where the engaging member is kept out of engagement with the inertia member. The control device has an engaging member supported rockably on the latch member, a control disk rotatable responsive to rotation of the ratchet wheel and a lever member movable following a guide portion of the control disk to bring the engaging member to the first position or the second position.
