摘要： An electrical connector includes an insulated housing defining an uninterrupted tongue portion with opposite first surface and second surface, the first surface defining a rib and a plurality of contacts loaded in the tongue portion. The contacts include first contacts with contacting sections loaded in the first surface at one side of the rib, second contacts with contacting section loaded in the first surface at another side of the rib and third contacts with contacting section loading in the second surface opposite to the rib. Each of the first and third contacts is composed of signal contacts and grounding contacts. Two distinct grounding bars are embedded in the tongue section and touch with front ends of grounding contacts of the first and third contacts respectively to reduce cross talk between signal contact of the first and third contacts.

摘要： An electrical connector (100) includes an insulated housing (1), a number of terminals (2) received in the insulated housing (1) and a metal bar (3) received in the insulated housing (1). The insulated housing (1) defines a mating portion which has a bottom wall (11), an up wall (12) and a pair of side walls (13) interconnecting with the bottom and the up walls (11, 12) to form a receiving space. A majority of the terminals (2) are separated into two distinct groups (21, 22) and received in the bottom wall (11) of the insulated housing (1). While an additional pair of the terminals (23) is received in the up wall (12) of the insulated housing (1). And the metal bar (3) is inserted into the up wall (12) of the insulated housing (1) either. The pair of terminals (23) and the metal bar (3) consist a switch device, and when the electrical connector (100) mates with a complementary connector, the switch device is shut to give a detective signal.

摘要： An electrical connector assembly includes a receptacle and a plug. The receptacle includes a housing defining two vertical stacked mating slots and a plurality of wafers loaded in the housing. Each wafer includes an upper pair and a lower pair of contacting portions, the upper pairs and the lower pairs of the wafers expose to the slots respectively. Each of the wafers further defines a ground contact with a contacting portion between the upper pair and lower pair of the contacting portions. The plurality of wafers includes pairs of differential signal wafers and ground wafers which are arranged in an alternating sequence in the connecting housing. The plug includes two card edges and a ground plate with a row of contacting pin between the card edges. The contacting pins of the ground plate touch with pairs of ground contacts formed with two adjacent ground contacts in two adjacent wafers.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a lengthwise housing and two rows of terminals. The housing defines two rows of passageways running through opposite first surface and second surface thereof to load with terminals. Each terminal includes a middle portion and two contacting arms extending from opposite ends of the middle portion. The two contacting arms of the terminals respectively extend beyond the first and second surfaces and curving inwards. Each terminal further includes a stopping rib and a spring rib at opposite lateral sides of the middle portion. Each passageway defines a first stopping shoulder adjacent to the second surface and a second stopping shoulder adjacent to the first surface. The stopping ribs are lodged against the first stopping shoulder or the spring ribs are lodged against the second stopping shoulder so that the terminals are moveable limited in the passageways.

摘要： An electrical connector (2) comprises an insulative housing including a mating tongue (20) exposed in a mating port (23), and three type contacts. The mating tongue has a front face (200) thereof. The three type contacts include two power contacts (201, 203) being on two opposite side regions of the mating tongue, three signal ground contacts (206) located between said two power contacts, and two pairs of signal contacts (205) each located between the corresponding two adjacent signal ground contacts. One of the two power contacts (201) extends much closer to the front face of the mating tongue than the other (203) of the two power contacts. This arrangement of two different-lengths has the ability to handle the instantaneous inrush current through the former power contact, i.e. the pre-charge power pin.
