Abstract: The invention relates to novel 2-benzimidazoyl-, 2-benzoxazolyl- and 2-benzothiazolyl hydrazones that are derived from 2-formylpyridine, 2-acylpyridines, acetyldiazines and acetyl(iso)quinolines.
