Abstract:
The invention provides an apparatus for building a three-dimensional article in sequential cross-sectional layers, which apparatus comprises: a powder delivery system comprising one or more reservoirs for delivering a powder and a powder spreading system; a printing system for delivering a liquid; a build chamber comprising a outer wall, an inner wall and a build platform which is movable along the inner wall of the build chamber; and a powder recovery system; wherein the building chamber comprises a space defined by the upper portion between the inner wall and the outer wall of the building chamber and this space is in communication with the powder recovery system and/or the build platform is capable of releasing unused powder (directly) from the build chamber in a downward direction into the powder recovery system. The invention further provides a method building a three-dimensional article wherein use is made of said apparatus.
Abstract:
A trolley (1) for distributing for instance food in aisles of airplanes is described. The trolley comprises a cabinet-shaped body (10) as well as a door (20) coupled hingedly to the body, capable of being closed by means of a lock system (100). The lock system is a multipoint lock system (100), wherein a bolting of the door with respect to the body is accomplished at a plurality of positions along a free vertical side edge (23) of the door.

The lock system is a multipoint lock system (100), wherein a bolting of the door with respect to the body is accomplished at a plurality of positions along a free vertical side edge (23) of the door.
Abstract:
A trolley (1) is described for distributing for instance food in aisles of airplanes. The trolley comprises a cabinet-shaped body (10) comprising a bottom (11), an upper wall (12), and two side walls (13) which enclose an interior (16), and which are manufactured as an extrusion part from plastic, for instance polyetherimide (PEI) or polyphenylsulphon (PPSU). The body is constituted as a combination of two body parts (20) coupled together, each with a substantially C-shaped contour. The body parts are double-walled, wherein an inner wall (21b, 22b, 23b) and the corresponding outer wall (21a, 22a, 23a) are connected with each other by a foam (29) or a system of plate-shaped ribs (30), wherein adjacent ribs have an opposite obliqueness. At its upper side, the body is provided with coextruded coupling members (50) for a tray, and at its under side the body is provided with co-extruded coupling members (70) for a wheel carrier (80) to which wheels (89) are connected.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a product having locally specific properties, the geometric form of which is described by a collection of polygonal basic figures in particular in STL (structural triangulation language), comprises the following steps: selecting the above basic figures a face part composed of coherent basic figures, adding to that face part at least one specific property, which during the manufacture of the product is to be given to the part thereof that comprises the above face part, optionally repeating the above process steps for other face parts to be selected, and manufacturing the product on the basis of the then obtained model information by means of a technique adding material in layers or in a die molding process, which includes giving the associated specific property during the building up in layers of at least the part of the product that comprises the above face part or during the injection molding.
