摘要： Provided is a filtration cassette having a rigid body configured for externally supporting a filtration media disposed thereover and having at least one filtering surface configured with a flow path facilitating filtered fluid flow from a space extending between the filtration media and the filtering surface, and extending towards an outlet terminal. Also provided is a filtration segment including such a filtration cassette and where the filtration media is a filtration thread tensionally coiled over the filtration cassette at a multi-layered and tight configuration. Further provided are a plurality of such filtration segments which are configured into a disk-type assembly forming a filtration unit for a filtering system.
