摘要: Magnetic sensing methods and systems are disclosed. A minimum magnetic signal output and a maximum magnetic signal output can be detected utilizing a sensor comprising a peak detector circuit associated with a filter averaging circuit and one or more magnetic elements (e.g., a Hall element and/or magnetoresistive bridge). An average magnetic signal output can then be determined utilizing the filter averaging circuit when a target begins to rotate in front of the sensor.

摘要: A magnetic sensor is provided with a housing in which a carrier is inserted. The carrier is particularly shaped to retain a permanent magnet in a particular position relative to a plurality of electrical conductors and a substrate on which a magnetically sensitive component is attached. The carrier and its associated components is inserted into a housing which can be deformed to permanently retain the carrier within a cavity of the housing. All of the components of the sensor are designed to be easily assembly along a common axis to facilitate automatic assembly and manufacture of the sensor. The magnetically sensitive component can be a Hall effect element that is associated with other electrical components which are also attached to a substrate that is disposed proximate a front end of the carrier.

摘要: A magnetic sensing apparatus includes a first magnetic transducer separated spatially from a second magnetic transducer and proximate to a target and a direction decoding circuit associated with the first and second magnetic transducers, wherein the direction decoding circuit produces output pulses that provide data indicative of a rotation of the target while rejecting rotational vibration signals associated with the target during a rotational detection of the target utilizing the first and second magnetic transducers without producing erroneous output pulses or missing an excessive number of the output pulses during speed and rotational detection operations thereof.
