    摘要: A method and system for determining a maximum function for a magnetic resonance imaging scanner. The maximum function indicates the upper bound of a magnetic field magnitude in an examination volume in dependence on activation signals of magnetic coils acting on the examination volume. The examination volume is divided into a plurality of partial volumes. The method determines matrices (MB), which, when multiplied by a vector of the activation signals of the magnetic coils, indicate a resultant square of the magnetic field magnitude for each partial volume.
