Abstract: Batch configuration of digital certificates for building control devices that operate on a secure building control network using Certificate Based Authentication (CBA). A plurality of digital certificate files may be stored, wherein each of the digital certificate files includes a digital certificate and has a file name that includes a pattern that can be matched to a unique identifier of a respective one of the building control devices. A matching one of the digital certificate files may be automatically identified for each of the building control devices by matching the pattern in the file name of the matching digital certificate file with the unique identifier of the respective building control device. The matching digital certificate file may be batch uploaded to the respective building control device for subsequent use by the respective building control device when communicating over the building control network.

Abstract: An example apparatus, method, and system for determining a characteristic of a target gas in a fluid sample is provided. In some embodiments, the example apparatus includes a frequency comb illumination source configured to emit pulsed light having a plurality of frequency comb wavelengths. The apparatus also includes an optical cavity containing a fluid sample and exhibiting a plurality of cavity resonance modes. A frequency comb wavelength of the plurality of frequency comb wavelengths associated with the frequency comb illumination source is configured to align with a cavity resonance mode of the plurality of cavity resonance modes. A characteristic of the fluid sample is determined based on one or more optical characteristics of a transmitted light passing through the fluid sample within the optical cavity.

Abstract: Various examples of the present disclosure provide aircraft engine sensing apparatuses and methods of manufacturing aircraft engine sensing apparatuses. For example, an example aircraft engine sensing apparatus includes an aircraft engine sensor, a plurality of connection wires, and at least one ceramic insulator. In some examples, the aircraft engine sensor is positioned within an aircraft engine. In some examples, the plurality of connection wires connect the aircraft engine sensor to a sensor connector. In some examples, the plurality of connection wires are positioned within a wire protection housing. In some examples, the at least one ceramic insulator is positioned within the wire protection housing and defines a plurality of insulator openings. In some examples, each of the plurality of connection wires passes through one of the plurality of insulator openings.

Abstract: Various embodiments describe time-multiplexing of optical channels in an air data sensor. At least one switch outputs a reference optical signal, and each of a plurality of backscattered optical signals to at least one common optical path at a time. Alternatively stated, the at least one common optical path is configured to receive the reference optical signal and at least one of the backscattered optical signals in sequence. In doing so, the extent of systematic bias present in the at least one common optical path can be compensated for and even reduced during sensor operation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for an active transistor PUF circuit with MEMS uniqueness are described herein. In one example, a PUF circuit includes one or more MEMS structures configured to provide an output, wherein the output includes active oscillations, charge, resistance, inductance, and/or capacitance values. The PUF circuit further includes active transistor PUF circuitry communicatively coupled to the one or more MEMS structures. The active transistor PUF circuitry is configured to receive a challenge input and generate a PUF response in response to the challenge input. The PUF response is generated based on the output provided by the one or more MEMS structures and manufacturing variation in components of the active transistor PUF circuitry. The PUF response generated by the active transistor PUF circuitry is an output of the PUF circuit.
