摘要: A system is provided that is configured to be transported, carried or worn by a user, such as a portable personal training device or sports watch. The system comprises a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver arranged to obtain the location and/or speed of the user and a pedometer for counting steps made by the user. Data from the GNSS receiver is used to calibrate the pedometer each time the user is determined to travel a distance greater than a predefined distance value during a period of time in which signals obtained by the GNSS receiver meet the one or more accuracy and/or reliability criteria.

摘要: A method and a system for network synchronization are provided. In this method, when a node attempts to join a network, a parent node is searched from all other nodes already joined the network per specific time interval. If the parent node can be found, sync-information sent by the parent node is received by the node so as to synchronize with the parent node and enter a working mode. When a sleeping instruction sent by the parent node is received, or a timer determines that a network ending time is reached according to the sync-information, the node switches to a sleeping mode. However, when the timer determines that a network wakeup time is reached according to the sync-information, the node attempts to join the network again. All nodes in the network can work and sleep simultaneously so as to extend the lifetime of the battery.

摘要: A spilling method in register files for a processor is proposed. The processor is of Parallel Architecture Core (PAC) structure, and accordingly includes a first cluster, a second cluster and a memory. Each of the first and second clusters includes a first function unit (e.g., M-Unit), a second function unit (e.g., I-Unit), a first local register file, a second local register file and a global register file. The first and second local register files are used by the first and second function units, respectively. For a specified live range, the method includes the steps of calculating communication costs of the first local register file, the second local register file and the global register file in each of the first and second clusters, and communication cost of the memory for storing the live range when spilling occurs; calculating use ratios of the first local register file, the second local register file and the global register file in each of the first and second clusters, and use ratio of the memory for the live range; and selecting one of the first local register file, the second local register file and the global register file in each of the first and second clusters and the memory for storing the live range based on the communication costs and the use ratios.

摘要: A molding apparatus includes a mold plate, a mold core received in the mold plate, a plurality of temperature sensors and a heater. A heat passage is defined in the mold plate and adjacent to the mold core. The heat passage is configured for flowing a heating medium therethrough to heat up the mold core. The plurality of temperature sensors are mounted in the mold plate for sensing a temperature of the mold plate. The heater is configured for heating the mold plate according to the temperature sensed by the sensors.

摘要: The present invention discloses a laser tilt apparatus and the method thereof. The present invention comprises an input device, a tilt sensor, a motor, a microcontroller unit, and at least a laser module. The input device is used to input a tilt value. The tilt sensor supplies a tilt signal to represent the levelness of the laser tilt apparatus. The motor, electrically connected to the tilt sensor, adjusts the levelness of the laser tilt apparatus. The microcontroller unit samples the tilt signal to judge the levelness of the laser tilt apparatus. When leveling, the microcontroller unit drives the motor to adjust the tilt apparatus until the tilt signal matches the tilt value. After adjusting, the power supplied to the tilt sensor and the motor is suspended. The laser module is used to transmit laser light.
