摘要: A compressed air energy storage system including a compressor adapted to receive a process gas and output a compressed process gas. A heat transfer unit may be coupled to the compressor and adapted to receive the compressed process gas and a heat transfer medium and to output a cooled process gas and a heated heat transfer medium. A compressed gas storage unit may be coupled to the heat transfer unit and adapted to receive and store the cooled process gas. A waste heat recovery unit may be coupled to the heat transfer unit and adapted to receive the heated heat transfer medium.

摘要: A fluid processing system and method are provided for separating a liquid portion from a multiphase fluid. The system and method may include a steam turbine assembly coupled with a rotary shaft, and a separator coupled with the rotary shaft and positioned upstream of the steam turbine assembly. The separator may include an inlet end configured to receive a multiphase fluid, an outlet end fluidly coupled with the steam turbine assembly, and a separation chamber extending from the inlet end to the outlet end. The separation chamber may be configured to separate a liquid portion from the multiphase fluid to thereby provide a substantially gaseous fluid to the steam turbine assembly.

A retainer is disposeable either generally within or generally about the at least one connector and is configured to prevent radial displacement of the connector with respect to the axis so as to maintain engagement of the connector with the first and second casings.

摘要: A damper film bearing assembly for supporting a rotatable shaft of a turbomachine includes a housing having a central bore sized to receive the bearing member, and an annular cavity formed within the housing around the central bore. The annular cavity includes an outer wall that is concentric with the central bore. A bearing member having an annular outer surface and an inner bearing surface is mounted within the cavity and engages the shaft to support the shaft within the housing. A fluid film damper mechanism acts between the annular outer surface and the outer wall of the cavity for damping radial movement of the bearing member within the cavity. A resiliently adjustable dead weight hanging spring support system acts between the housing and the bearing member to support the dead weight of the shaft within a vertically centered position within the central bore so that the fluid film damper means functions to maintain the shaft centered within the bore when vibrations occur during rotation of the shaft.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for sidestream mixing. The system may include a first junction formed from a plurality of conduits. The plurality of conduits may include a first conduit fluidly coupled to a compressor, the first conduit forming a first conduit diameter and configured to flow therethrough a first process fluid stream of a plurality of process fluid streams. The plurality of conduits may also include a second conduit fluidly coupled to the first conduit and the compressor, and configured to flow therethrough a second process fluid stream of the plurality of process fluid streams. The first junction may be disposed a first distance at least three times the first conduit diameter upstream of the compressor, such that the first process fluid stream and the second process fluid stream are mixed and form a first combined process fluid stream prior to being fed into and pressurized in the compressor.
