    摘要: A color filter capable of being uniformly formed without any deformation of a light-permeable anode conductor and prevented from being adversely affected by etching for formation of the anode conductor. A light-permeable anode substrate free of any deformation is uniformly formed thereon with anode conductors, on which color filters are formed of a mixture of a composite oxide pigment and a conductive material so as to cover the anode conductors. The color filters each are formed by arranging a color filter material in a predetermined pattern, followed by calcination. Then, phosphor layers are deposited on the color filters. The phosphor layers are electrically connected through the conductive material of the color filters to the anode conductors. A thickness of the color filters and a particle diameter of the conductive material are determined to be substantially the same, so that the color filters exhibit conductivity only in a direction of thickness. Thus, contact between the color filters adjacent to each other does not cause electrical connection therebetween.

    摘要: A field emission type display device including a container formed of an anode substrate, a cathode substrate and side wall portions, and a cover member mounted at the container to form a getter room. An anode lead is securely fixed on the cover member so as to be derived outward from the outer wall confronting the anode substrate. Two wires are attached to the front end of the anode lead. When the cover member is mounted on the container, the curved portions of the two wires is pressed against the anode terminal formed on the anode substrate extended to the end of the anode substrate to secure electric conduction between the anode terminal and the anode lead. This structure provides easy-to-use anode leads which can be simply derived as electrodes.

    摘要: A fluorescent display device including a laterally elongated matrix-like display section and a plurality of control electrodes arranged in juxtaposition to each other while a longitudinal direction thereof is defined in a short side direction of the display section is disclosed which is capable of increasing a duty ratio when scanning the control electrodes. A plurality of picture cells are arranged longitudinally and laterally at equal intervals, resulting in forming the matrix-like display section. A plurality of sets of picture cells in an oblique direction are connected together. The control electrodes are connected together at every predetermined interval. Thus, when the control electrodes are scanned and the anode conductors are fed with a display signal, the fluorescent display device carries out graphic display while selecting desired picture cells at a high duty ratio.

    摘要: A field emission display device of the type driven on a high anode voltage to accelerate effectively emitted electrons to the anode, thus providing high brightness as well as no leakage of glowed light. Cone emitters are formed on the cathode electrode laying on a cathode substrate. An insulating layer as well as first gate electrodes are formed on the portions where the emitters are not formed. Another insulating layer if formed on the first gate electrodes. Second gate electrodes (or focusing electrodes) with openings are formed over the first gate electrodes. Plural lines of the emitters are formed in parallel in the emitter area corresponding one pixel. The emitters are aligned to each of the openings. An anode voltage of 2kV to 5kV is applied to the anode electrode (not shown). The electrons from the emitters are focused by the focusing electrode and the reaches the anode electrode.

    摘要: A fluorescent display device of the front emission type capable of permitting light-permeable anode conductors to be uniformly formed without any deformation and preventing color filters from being affected by etching carried out for forming the anode conductors. A light-permeable anode substrate is provided thereon with strip-like filters, which are then formed thereon with a uniform and flat protective film of light-permeable, insulating and etching-resistant properties. Then, anode conductors are arranged on the protective film. Thus, the anode conductors can be uniformly formed on the flat protective film irrespective of unevenness on a surface of the filters. Also, the protective film prevents the anode conductors from being exposed to etching liquid used for formation of the anode conductors.
