    摘要: There is provided a projection lens unit for a pico-projector which comprises a lens array, a color composition prism, a cover glass and an image panel, the projection lens unit characterized in that: the lens array includes 1st to 6th lenses sequentially arrayed from a screen on which an image is projected, the 1st lens includes a stop side formed on a 1st side of the 1st lens, the stop side stops the passage of light, to perform the function of a diaphragm aperture, light passing from the 1st lens to the 6th lens travels in only one direction of the lens sides based on the diaphragm aperture, and parts of the lens sides through which the light does not pass are cut so that the whole height of the lens array is reduced.

    摘要: A projection system including a light source, a color separator, a scrolling unit, a light valve, a wire grid polarization beam splitter, and a projection lens unit is provided. The color separator separates an incident beam according to color. The scrolling unit scrolls the color beams. The light valve processes an incident beam according to an image signal and forms a color picture. The wire grid polarization beam splitter is disposed between the scrolling unit and the light valve and transmits or reflects an incident beam according to a polarization of the incident beam. The projection lens unit magnifies the color picture formed by the light valve and reflected by the wire grid beam splitter and projects the magnified color picture onto a screen.

The light valve receives, at different positions, the color beams transmitted by the scrolling unit and forms a color image by turning pixels on or off according to an input image signal.

    摘要: A spiral lens disk and a projection system adopting the same are provided. The spiral lens disk has spirally arranged cylinder lens cells and scrolls incident light by converting the rotation of the cylinder lens cells into rectilinear motion of a cylinder lens array. The projection system includes at least one spiral lens disk such that color scrolling is achieved using a single component to form a color image. Due to a reduction in the number of components, a light, low-price projection system can be obtained, and a single-panel projection system with high light efficiency can also be obtained.

    摘要: An image display system includes an illumination system, a light valve, a polarization beam splitter, and at least one polarizing element. The illumination system includes a light source, a color separator, and a scrolling unit. The light valve processes color beams which are scrolled, according to an input image signal and form a color image. The polarization beam splitter transmits or reflects an incident light beam according to polarization so light from the illumination system advances toward the light valve and light from the light valve advances toward a projection lens unit. A polarizing element may be installed at a path of light traveling toward the polarization beam splitter or a path of light that is reflected by the light valve and travels toward the projection lens unit.

    摘要: A color scrolling projection system is provided, including a light source, a color separator, a color scanner, a light valve, and a control circuit. The light source generates and emits light. The color separator separates incident light according to color. The color scanner includes a scrolling unit and a driving source for rotating the scrolling unit. The scrolling unit includes at least one lens cell and converts the rotation of the scrolling unit into the rectilinear motion of a lens array of the scrolling unit through which light passes. The light valve processes color bars according to an input image signal and forms a color image. The control circuit synchronizes the scrolling of the color with the electrical scanning of the light valve according to an image signal. The color bars are scrolled on the light valve due to a rotation of the scrolling unit.
