摘要： A microwave heating apparatus operates in either a first mode or a second mode, that allow different amounts of electric power to be supplied to a load and a control circuit for driving and controlling the load. The voltage applied to a primary coil of a transformer is lower in the second mode than in the first mode. In another apparatus, no electric power is supplied to a control circuit for driving and controlling a heating member and other circuits when the apparatus is in a standby state. However, when the user operates an operation member for opening the door of a heating chamber, electric power is supplied.

摘要： A cooking apparatus has a display and a selector for selecting an item displayed on the display. The display displays one screen after another so as to correspond to one item after another selected thereon. The cooking apparatus further has a bookmark attachment requester for requesting attachment of a bookmark to a specific screen displayed on the display unit, a storage for storing data related to the bookmarked screen, a bookmarked screen display requesting member for requesting display of the bookmarked screens and a display controller for displaying the bookmarked screen in accordance with the data stored in the storage in response to a request from the bookmarked screen display requester.
