    摘要: A linear motion rolling guide unit, which has underside seals prevented from falling off a slider, comprises a slider having a pair of end caps secured at ends of a casing, and underside seals provided between the pair of end caps having engaging projections. Insertion holes are formed in the underside seals and engaged with the engaging projections to secure the underside seals to the slider. Fallout-inhibiting protrusions are provided at ends of each underside seal in the longitudinal direction. The slider has holding portions each having a hole or a recess into which each of the fallout-inhibiting protrusions is inserted when the underside seal is secured to the slider. A gap is maintained between the holding portion having the hole or the recess and the outer periphery of the fallout-inhibiting protrusion.

    摘要: A linear motion guide unit is disclosed in which a tubular composition to provide a return passage is high in mechanical stiffness and also makes certain of sustainable application of lubricant to rolling elements rolling through the return passage, thereby ensuring proper lubrication under maintenance-free operation. The tubular composition to make the return passage is composed of a tubular skeleton to guide the rollers, and a porous compact impregnated with lubricant. The tubular skeleton is made up of forward and aft ends, a lengthwise column and a flexible spine, which extend between the ends. The flexible spine includes lengthwise opposite relief portions and a flexible middle section, which fit into the porous compact with separating from the porous compact to make a clearance between them. The flexible spine deflects as the rollers roll through the return passage, permitting the rollers coming into touch with the porous compact to lubricate the rollers.

A slider S is provided with a pair of guide holes 31, 32 for forming a return guide path. Guide cylinders 34 in which the rollers 37 roll are inserted in the guide holes 31, 32. A pair of passage groove 42, 43 having different depth and intersecting with each other is provided in each of the end caps e1, e2. A divider frame 36 is provided integrally with one end of each guide cylinder 34 for defining the intersecting passage grooves. The divider frame 36 is inserted in a cross portion of the intersecting passage grooves, whereby the outward guide path and the return guide path are defined while still intersecting.

    摘要: A linear motion guide unit is disclosed in which the lubrication points of lubricant around a rolling element are made in a turnaround passage to ensure proper and steady lubrication by the lubrication system simple in construction, with accompanying sustainable maintenance-free condition for lubrication. In the end cap, there is made a recess as large as permitted. The end cap is holed to communicate the recess with a turnaround passage. A porous compact impregnated with lubricant fits into the recess. The porous compact is composed a thick block to fit into a deep cavity in the recess, a nose leading lubricant in the turnaround passage, and a conjunctive part between the thick block and the nose. The porous compact fits snugly into the recess in a fashion that the nose comes into rolling-touch at its tip with the rollers as they roll through the turnaround passage, applying the rollers with lubricant delivered from the noses.

    摘要: A linear motion guide unit is disclosed, in which a slider fitting over a guide rail for movement is comprised of three components save rolling elements. The three components are joined together in the slider with using no fastener such as threaded fasteners, but just with fit-engagement that makes it possible to shrink the slider down in size. The three components are made up of a carriage made therein with raceway grooves and return passages, an upper component applied to the carriage to fit into recesses on the top surface of the carriage, and a lower component applied to the carriage to fit into recesses on the bottom surface of the carriage. The upper and lower components are joined together with the help of fit-engagement of hooks and hook holes, with holding firmly the carriage between them.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of producing foamed particles of an ethylene-based resin, which have a high expansion ratio and are free from the formation of fine cells, by dispersing particles of the uncrosslinked ethylene-based resin, which are obtained using, as a base resin, an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer containing, as a comonomer component, 1.0-10 wt. % of an .alpha.-olefin having 4-10 carbon atoms, in a dispersion medium in the presence of a foaming agent in a closed vessel, heating the resultant dispersion to impregnate the resin particles with the foaming agent, and then releasing the resin particles into a region of a pressure lower than the internal pressure of the vessel at a foaming temperature not lower than the softening temperature of the resin particles, thereby expanding the resin particles. An aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or an alicyclic hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide are used in admixture as the foaming agent in amounts satisfying the following equations (1) and (2) at the same time:E/7+0.3.ltoreq.3x+2y.ltoreq.E/7+5.4 (1)5.4.times.10.sup.-3 .ltoreq.x/(yE) (2)in which:x: the number of mols of the aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or the alicyclic hydrocarbon per 1000 g of the resin particles;y: the number of mols of carbon dioxide per 1000 g of the resin particles; andE: an intended bulk expansion ratio for the foamed particles,with the proviso that x and y are greater than 0.

The apparatus includes a weigh hopper equipped with a weighing means, a foamed particle feeder adapted to control the amount of the foamed particles of the thermoplastic resin to be fed to the weigh hopper according to the weight of the foamed particles contained in the weigh hopper, a particle feed hopper adapted to temporarily keep a fixed weight of the foamed particles, which have been weighed in the weigh hopper, a holding hopper which acts as a pressurized tank, and a filling machine for filling the foamed particles into a mold. The filling apparatus allows for the successive weighing and pressurized containment of the foamed particles prior to being fed into the mold cavities.
