摘要: A lens holding ring 50 is held by a string-like body 40a stretched along a surface of an eyeball 1 by being supported by a plurality of cannulas 21, 22 inserted to a sclera 2, and is fixed to the surface of the eyeball 1 by a tensile stress of the string-like body 40a, and in this state, holds a surgery lens 30 on the eyeball. The lens holding ring 50 comprises a lens holder 51 including an opening 52 into which a lens is inserted, and engagement parts 57 provided at positions opposed to each other across the opening 52. Each engagement part has an engagement structure of engaging with the string-like body 40a for fixing the lens holder to the surface of the eyeball so as to interpose the lens holder therein, and has a folded part 58 on the tip of the engagement part for preventing coming-off of the string-like body.

摘要: An injector which enables an operator to safely insert an intraocular lens without a mishandling is provided. An injector 1 for inserting an intraocular lens which has a loop folded and loaded in a cartridge into an eye by pushing out that lens while rotating it, comprises insertion-start-position indicating means 32 which indicates a position at the time of starting inserting the intraocular lens, and insertion-complete-position indicating means 2 which indicates a position at the time of completing the insertion of the intraocular lens. It is possible to easily figure out the orientation of the intraocular lens loaded in the cartridge 6 at the time of inserting the intraocular lens, thus making it possible to prevent a cornea or the like from being harmed by the loop of the intraocular lens.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a contact lens for vitreous surgery that is highly durable to washing, disinfectants, sterilizing high-pressure steam, and the like, and that has good antireflection effect in the visible light range. In the contact lens 10 for vitreous surgery used to observe the ocular fundus 3 during vitreous surgery, an antireflection film 14 produced by ion beam sputtering is coated onto the upper surface 13 of a lens main body 11, and the antireflection film is a multilayered film in which a high refractive index layer 18 that contains tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) and a low refractive index layer 19 that contains silicon dioxide (SiO2) are alternatingly layered.
