    Abstract: A method to reduce the usability of a target device of a power tool system for a power tool system. The power tool system includes as devices a plurality of power tools, a plurality of exchangeable battery packs and a plurality of chargers. The method includes the steps of: selecting, by using a processor, at least one isolating device from one or more devices of the power tool system, which had been plugged to the target device, using information on usage of the one or more devices; sending an isolating command to the at least one isolating device; receiving the isolating command by the at least one isolating device; and disabling or limiting the at least one isolating device in its interactions with the target device and/or disabling or limiting with the at least one isolating device an operation of the target device.

    Abstract: A setting tool for a blind rivet, the setting tool including a shell as well as a drive unit, a pull unit, a clamping unit, and a nose part which are contained in the shell, wherein the clamping unit includes a plurality of clamping blocks angularly arrayed around a pulling direction in sequence; a plurality of clamping teeth are provided on an inner side, facing a mandrel of a blind rivet, of each clamping block; the clamping teeth at a front section of the clamping block are at least partially removed in advance to reduce or eliminate a concentrated stress or shear force acting on the front sections of the clamping blocks and generated due to unequal acting forces from the clamping sleeve and the blind rivet, wherein the unequal acting forces are caused by actual processing tolerance, design, or the fact that the mandrel of the blind rivet cannot be totally parallel to the axis R constantly during riveting.

    Abstract: A method for producing an object having a microstructure. In the production of the objects, use is made of injection molds which have a counterstructure to the desired microstructure of the object, wherein the counterstructure of the injection mold can be obtained by laser structuring. The material and the objects produced therefrom have proven to be surprisingly robust, hard-wearing and slip-resistant, making them particularly suitable for the production of handles for power tools. A material which includes at least one thermoplastic elastomer material, wherein a texture depth of the material is in a range of from 250 to 400 μm, preferably in a range of from 300 to 380 μm, and more preferably about 325 μm. In yet another aspect, the invention relates to use of the material as a surface material for power tools.
