    摘要: A slide locking apparatus for a seat includes a first locking section with plural first locking pieces and at least one second locking section group with forward, intermediate, and rear second locking sections. When at least one of the first locking pieces locks with one of the second locking sections, another first locking piece locks with another second locking section. A first lock inhibiting section inhibits the forward second locking section from engaging any of the locking pieces when a rearwardmost locking piece is forward of a position where the rearwardmost locking piece coincides with the intermediate locking section. A second inhibiting section inhibits the rear second locking section from locking with any of the locking pieces when the forward locking piece is rearward of the intermediate locking section.

    摘要: A seat apparatus for an automobile comprises: a seat cushion which is movable between a sitting position and a position for getting into and getting out of the automobile, the position is remote forward or rearward from the sitting position; a guide device for guiding the seat cushion between the sitting position and the position for getting into and getting out of the automobile; a backrest which is rotatably connected to the seat cushion via a hinge structure; a locking mechanism which causes the seat cushion to engage and disengage with the guide device, and a lock switching device is provided on the seat cushion and the backrest. The lock switching device releases an engagement between the seat cushion and the guide device performed by the lock mechanism and when the backrest is inclined forward to the seat cushion at a predetermined angle, and engages the seat cushion and the guide device with each other when the backrest is further inclined forward so as to be substantially horizontal.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a plasma display apparatus, which represents the luminance of one frame in accordance with a combination of plural sub-frames having luminance levels corresponding to a plurality of weighted values, additionally includes a sub-frame having a luminance level lower than the minimum gray scale level of luminance which can be represented by the number of bits in the input video data. Such plasma display apparatus turns on a desired combination of the sub-frames so as to increase the resolution of the luminance without increasing the conventional number of gray scale levels included in the input video data. In a preferred embodiment, especially when the added smaller luminance sub-frame is included in a combination of sub-frames for a low luminance area, the resolution of the gray scale of the low luminance area can be increased, and the representation of gray scale can be enhanced in a low luminance area to which the sight of a person is more sensitive.

    摘要: In a PDP unit, a display frame for one screen comprises a plurality of sub-frames, the luminance of each of which is determined by a sustaining pulse number. A length of one frame is calculated from the length of one cycle of a vertical synchronization signal and a sub-frame condition determination circuit determines, from the length of one frame, the number of sub-frames, the luminance of each sub-frame and a total sustaining pulse number. A load factor is calculated from an external input signal. A further circuit determines a maximum display luminance from consumed power and calculates a luminance factor, and yet a further circuit corrects the luminance drop due to a load from the total sustaining pulse number, the luminance ratio and the load factor for the respective sub-frame and calculates sustaining pulse numbers for the respective sub-frames. Thereby, the sustaining pulse numbers of the respective sub-frames are determined through calculations using the total sustaining pulse number, the luminance ratio, the load factor and the consumed power rather than using a luminance table, simplifying construction of the PDP unit while performing more accurate calculations and thereby improving display quality and providing a stable display without flickering.
