摘要: A dispensing apparatus and method are disclosed for dispensing sheet material from at least one roll of the sheet material. Dispensing is transferred from a stub roll to a reserve roll automatically in response to sensing a predetermined quantity of the stub roll. An isolating element is provided to lift the reserve roll out of contact with dispensing rollers during dispensing of sheet material from the stub roll, and a nipping element is provided to nip sheet material of the reserve roll when dispensing is transferred from the stub roll to the reserve roll. A cam controls movement of both the isolating element and the nipping element. Structure is also provided for sensing the diameter of the reserve roll of sheet material and providing an indication when the reserve roll is a predetermined diameter. The dispenser is quiet and capacity efficient.

The telescope body generally includes a primary structure for holding a mirror, a secondary structure for holding a means for receiving a reflection from the mirror, and a mounting section connecting the primary and secondary structure. The primary and secondary structures include four-bar linkages which have linkage action planes intersecting at the focal point of the mirror. Apparatus for preventing the secondary structure from intruding in a raypath of light to the means for receiving a reflection is also disclosed.

摘要: In one disclosed embodiment according to the invention, a fuel cell system for generating electrical power comprises: an open-ended tubular solid oxide fuel cell; a first fuel injector tube extending from a first fuel plenum chamber through one open end of the fuel cell; and a second fuel injector tube extending from a second fuel plenum chamber through another open end of the fuel cell; wherein the first and second fuel injector tubes form a gap within the fuel cell from which a hydrogen-containing fuel gas may flow towards the open ends of the fuel cell. Further related systems and method are also disclosed.

摘要: Various aspects of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology are described. One specific application includes a seal for connecting an outer surface of a fuel cell to a cell manifold that supports the fuel cell and delivers a fuel mixture to an inside portion of the fuel cell. The seal also separates the fuel mixture from the outer surface at the seal. And the seal is electrically conductive to allow flow of electric current between the outer surface and the cell manifold.

摘要: Apparatus for processing individual rolls of an exposed composite self-developing type transparency film structure. The composite film structure includes first and second sheets which are adapted to be located in superposed relation prior to having a processing liquid spread therebetween to initiate the formation of a visible image within the composite structure. The apparatus includes a first pair of rollers for withdrawing the first sheet and a portion of the second sheet from a film cassette, and a second pair of rollers which are adapted to advance the first and second sheets, in superposition, into a dark chamber while simultaneously spreading a processing liquid between and in contact with the sheets so as to initiate formation of the visible image in the composite film structure.
