Abstract:
A welding jig and welding process for planar magnetic components are provided. The welding jig includes a fixed piece and an elastic piece. The fixed piece includes a base and a carrier. The base has an opening, bumps at the bottom of the opening and a pair of operation ends extending from the opening. The carrier is fixed on the base and located in the opening, and has multiple through holes. When the bumps are located respectively in the through holes, an accommodation interval is formed between adjacent pairs of the bumps for the placement of the planar magnetic components. The elastic piece is secured to the fixed piece, and when the planar magnetic components are placed in the accommodation intervals of the fixed piece, the elastic piece covers the planar magnetic components and the planar magnetic components abut against two side edges of the elastic piece.

A transformer includes a bobbin, a first winding, a second winding, a core set and an insulating cover. The bobbin has a first winding area and a second winding area. The first winding and the second winding are wound around the first and second winding areas of the bobbin, respectively. The core set surrounds the first winding and the second winding. The insulating cover covers the bobbin and completely covers the core set except inserting sides of the core set.
Abstract:
An embedded transformer embedded in a board is disclosed. The embedded transformer includes a board, a first insulating sheet, a preformed coil, a second insulating sheet, a first core and a second core. Among these, the board includes a conductive pattern formed on an upper surface of the board. A part of said conductive pattern serves as a primary coil of the embedded transformer. The first insulating sheet is formed on the conductive pattern. The preformed coil is formed on the first insulating sheet. The second insulating sheet is formed on the preformed coil. The first core is formed on the second insulating sheet and partially embedded in the board. The second core formed on a lower surface of the board is partially embedded in the board so as to be couple to the first core.
