摘要： A steam generator and a laundry machine equipped with the same are disclosed, the steam generator according to the present invention includes a case (100) for storing water for generating steam therein; an inlet (111) provided within the case (100) for drawing water there trough; an outlet (112) provided within the case (100) for discharging steam there trough; and a water-inlet-proof-partition-wall (800) for preventing the water drawn through the inlet (111) from being discharged through the outlet (112). An object of the present invention devised to solve the problem is to provide a steam generator which can prevent water from being discharged through an outlet (112) and supplied into a drum.

摘要： A driving apparatus for a washing machine is disclosed which includes a dual-motor type motor. The driving apparatus includes a tub which contains washing water, and receives a drum such that the drum is rotatable, a dual rotor which includes an outer motor including magnets supported by an inner peripheral surface of the outer rotor, the inner rotor arranged inside the outer rotor, the inner rotor including magnets supported by an outer peripheral surface of the inner rotator, a bearing housing which is formed at a rear wall of the tub in accordance with an insert molding method such that the bearing housing is integral with the tub, the bearing housing rotatably supporting a drum shaft connecting the drum and the dual rotor, a motor mounting bracket which is mounted to the rear wall of the tub, and a stator which includes a core arranged such that opposite surfaces of the core face the magnets of the outer rotor and the magnets of the inner rotor, respectively, an insulator made of an insulating material, the insulator enclosing the core, coils wound around the insulator, a molded member formed in accordance with an insert molding method to enclose the insulator and the coils such that the molded member is integral with the insulator and the coils while allowing the opposite surfaces of the core to be exposed, and a coupling member extending from the molded member, the coupling portion being mounted to the rear wall of the tub via the motor mounting bracket.

The motor includes a rotating shaft which is rotatably mounted to a motor mounting member of an appliance, a rotor which includes magnets circumferentially arranged at a position radially spaced apart from a center of the rotating shaft by a predetermined distance such that N and S poles are alternately arranged, and a stator which includes a core made of metal, an insulator enclosing the core while allowing a surface of the core facing the magnets of the rotor to be outwardly exposed, the insulator being made of an insulating resin material, coils wound on the insulator, and a circular molded member formed in accordance with an insert molding method to enclose the insulator and the coils while allowing the surface of the core outwardly exposed through the insulator to be outwardly exposed.

The tub (100) is formed through injection molding with a bearing housing (200) inserted therein, and the washing machine comprises the same. Here, the bearing housing (200) comprises a flange (210) extending to have a protruded part (216) and a recessed part (215) in a radial direction. The tub (100), and the washing machine comprising the same solve the problems of the conventional washing machine, and fulfill various requirements. The tub (100) has excellent strength and rigidity of the rear wall thereof, exhibits a strong coupling force with respect to the inserted bearing housing (200), and reduces manufacturing costs. Thus, the washing machine has all the characteristics of the tub (100).
