Additionally, a color conversation apparatus includes a control unit to determine a race by recognizing a skin region in an input image input, and to select a preferred skin color to apply to the skin region, based on the plurality of the preferred skin color information stored in a storage unit, and a compensation unit to correct a color of the skin region using the preferred skin color selected by the control unit. Hence, the skin color per race can be adequately converted to the color which can satisfy the user.

    摘要: An image compensating apparatus includes an input unit to receive input of an photo image, a Gaussian filtering unit to perform Gaussian filtering on the photo image, a division-map generating unit to convert the photo image on which the Gaussian filtering is performed into a color space including a plurality of color components and then generating a chromaticity division-map based on a color coordinate value in the color space, a calculating unit to calculate average chromaticity of each respective region by using the chromaticity division-map, and a compensating unit to compensate chromaticity of each respective region of the photo image by using the average chromaticity of each respective region. Accordingly, a faded image input to the input unit may effectively be compensated.

    摘要: A bubble-jet type ink-jet printhead, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, wherein, the printhead includes a substrate integrally having an ink supply manifold, an ink chamber, and an ink channel, a nozzle plate having a nozzle, a heater consisting of resistive heating elements, and an electrode for applying current to the heater. In particular, the ink chamber is formed in a substantially hemispherical shape on a surface of the substrate, a manifold is formed from its bottom side toward the ink chamber, and the ink channel linking the manifold and the ink chamber is formed at the bottom of the ink chamber. Thus, this simplifies the manufacturing process and facilitates high integration and high volume production. Furthermore, a doughnut-shaped bubble is formed to eject ink in the printhead, thereby preventing a back flow of ink as well as formation of satellite droplets that may degrade image resolution.

    摘要: A monolithic nozzle assembly formed with a mono-crystalline silicon substrate includes a damper for temporarily storing an incoming fluid, and a nozzle having a pyramidal portion and an outlet portion, the pyramidal portion for guiding the flow of the fluid from the damper toward the outlet portion and for increasing the pressure of the fluid, and the outlet portion through which the fluid is discharged, wherein the damper, and the pyramidal and outlet portions of the nozzle are aligned with each other and formed in the single mono-crystalline silicon substrate by continuous processes. The monolithic nozzle assembly can be formed with a single (100) mono-crystalline silicon wafer. Compared with a complicated nozzle assembly formed using a great number of silicon wafers and plates, the configuration of the monolithic nozzle assembly is simple, and can be manufactured on a mass production scale by semiconductor manufacturing processes.
