Abstract: A platform for developing data models includes a repository for kernel images, a data store of data sets and a development environment. The kernel images include a data model and configurable development code for developing the data model. The development of the data model is configurable according to development parameters for the development code. The kernel images specify the development parameters in a standardized syntax for the platform and specify the input data using standardized data types for the platform, preferably via a standardized API. The development environment is used to run sessions to develop the data models. Each session runs one of the kernel images, according to a configuration of the development parameters for the kernel image, and using one of the data sets in the data store as input data.

Abstract: A computer system obtains a computer-aided design (CAD) file of the warehouse, and the CAD file describes a floor plan of the warehouse with a plurality of patterns in a plurality of layers. A storage space and a plurality of guard objects are identified on the floor plan of the warehouse. The computer system further obtains inventory information of a plurality of product packages to be stored in the warehouse. Based on the inventory information, a plurality of storage types is identified, and a storage area is determined for a subset of product packages associated with each storage type. In accordance with the storage area needed for each storage type, the storage space is divided into a plurality of storage regions for the plurality of product packages, and each storage region is uniquely associated with a respective one of the storage types.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating a transporting process is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request from a customer for shipping one or more products and determining a demand forecast corresponding to the one or more products based on the received request. The method includes determining number of one or more desired trailers and number of products based one or more cost factors, the received request and the determined demand forecast. The method includes determining number of one or more vehicles and number of round trips and generating a source sorting plan. The method also includes determining number of sorting slots required for sorting the one or more products and generate a transportation sorting plan. Further, the method includes outputting the determined number of sorting slots and the generated transportation sorting plan on a graphical user interface of one or more electronic devices.
