    摘要： A washing machine and a method of controlling the washing machine may be provided. The washing machine may include a drum in which laundry are provided and rotated. A laundry amount may be sensed. The drum may operate at a first speed so that a part of the laundry tumbles within the drum and another part of the laundry adheres to the drum or the drum operates at a second speed so that the laundry adheres to the drum according to the sensed laundry amount. Accordingly, at a time of a dehydration cycle, stability of the washing machine and a laundry balancing can be ensured.

    摘要： A home network system which can efficiently configure a new home appliance in the home network system. The home network system includes at least one new device newly connected to a master device through a network, for transmitting a plugged-in request message containing an initial address through the network, receiving an address change request message containing a logical address, and changing the initial address to the logical address, and at least one master device connected to the new device through the network, for receiving the plugged-in request message from the new device, setting the logical address for the new device, and transmitting the address change request message containing the logical address to the new device, wherein the initial address comprises at least a product code and a logical address of the new device, and the new device changes the logical address to the logical address set by the master device.

According to a washing machine and a method of controlling the washing machine in accordance with the present invention, a drum operates at a first speed so that part of the laundry tumbles within the drum and another part of the laundry adheres within the drum. The drum operates at a second speed lower than the first speed so that an amount of the tumbling laundry is more increased than at the first speed. Accordingly, at the time of a dehydration cycle, stability of the washing machine and laundry balancing can be ensured.

    摘要： A drum washing machine and a clothes dryer equipped with a thermoelectric module are disclosed. The thermoelectric module includes a heat absorption side and a heat dissipation side which absorbs and dissipates heat at a junction between two dissimilar metals depending on direction of current flow through the junction. The heat absorption side is disposed at a hot air flowing passage. Accordingly, the drying apparatus can increase energy efficiency with minor structural modification and becomes environmentally friendly unlike a conventional drying apparatus using a heat pump.
