摘要: An effective amount of eugenol exhibits very good antioxidant effects in mint oil and mint flavored chewing gum compositions, without altering the mint flavor. The stabilized mint oil and chewing gum compositions of the invention facilitate the replacement of synthetic antioxidants currently used in mint oil and mint-flavored chewing gums, with eugenol.
