摘要： A method and an apparatus for monitoring a vehicle battery installed on a motor vehicle and indicating the condition of the battery is provided which does not require removal of the battery from the vehicle. Upon initial movement of the ignition key from off to on, open circuit voltage is measured and compared to an allowable range. If open circuit voltage is acceptable, the possibility that polarization is skewing the result is determined, and if the possibility is indicated, a load test is imposed on the engine. Results of testing are maintained as data records to provide updates of the comparison values used for subsequent tests.

摘要： There is a urinary transfer system and associated process that includes a urinal capable of receiving urine from a patient, urine holding container, a first conduit connected between the urinal and the urine holding container, a pump, and a second conduit connected between the urine holding container and the pump. Preferably, there is a retainer that is associated with the urinal and a removable lid associated with the urine holding container. The urinary transfer system can be powered by any type of electrical power supply and/or battery. Optimally, there is a receiver electrically connected to the pump to be able to turn the pump on and off and can preferably control the operation of the pump based on input received from a transmitter. An external male catheter can also be utilized in conjunction with the urinary transfer system.

摘要： A support for use in conjunction with a camper (carriable by a conveying vehicle) and a plurality of conventional lifting jacks is constructed from square cross section ferrous tubing. The support is collapsible from an assembled state in which it supportively abuts the bottom of the camper when the camper is not carried by the vehicle. The support eases at least a significant portion of the load of the camper from the jacks, so as to avoid buckling of the camper sides by the jacks. Preferably, the jacks are maintained in position to stabilize the camper against transverse movement caused by wind or by movement inside the camper. The support is constructed from a pair of opposing end elements, each having a pair of vertical members connected by a horizontal cross member, and an upwardly opening socket on the upper ends of the vertical members. The support also includes a pair of connecting elements each having a pair of vertical legs, dimensioned to be slidably received in the sockets, which are connected by a horizontal side member.

摘要： An apparatus for applying a freeze brand to the hide of an animal. The apparatus includes a source of cryogenic fluid (e.g., liquid nitrogen), a canister having an inlet and an outlet for cryogenic fluid, and a brand relief attached to the canister. A flexible insulated hose is connected between the source of fluid and the canister. Preferably the cryogenic fluid passes through a conduit extending through the length of the handle to the canister. A swivel is preferably included in the handle enabling the canister and brand relief to be easily turned or rotated as needed.
