An example vehicle restraint system may include a first restraint hook array, a second restraint hook array, at least one restraint strap, and a restraint closure assembly. An example first restraint hook array may extend from the back portion of a vehicle seat and define at least one back restraint lock channel. An example second restraint hook array may extend from the seat portion of a vehicle seat and define at least one seat restraint lock channel. An example restraint strap may be configured to securely engage to at least one of the back restraint lock channels or to at least one of the seat restraint lock channels. An example restraint closure assembly may be configured to slidably close and secure an occupant seated in the vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates a duplex ferritic austenitic stainless steel having high formability utilizing the TRIP effect and high corrosion resistance with the balanced pitting resistance equivalent. The duplex stainless steel contains less than 0.04 weight % carbon, less than 0.7 weight % silicon, less than 2.5 weight % manganese, 18.5-22.5 weight % chromium, 0.8-4.5 weight % nickel, 0.6-1.4 weight % molybdenum, less than 1 weight % copper, 0.10-0.24 weight % nitrogen, the rest being iron and inevitable impurities occurring in stainless steels.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a ferritic-austenitic stainless steel having good formability and high elongation. The stainless steel is heat treated so that the microstructure of the stainless steel contains 45-75% austenite in the heat treated condition, the remaining microstructure being ferrite, and the measured Md30 temperature of the stainless steel is adjusted between 0 and 50° C. in order to utilize the transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) for improving the formability of the stainless steel.
Abstract:
The present invention is described as one set containing a pair of pushup grips. Each grip includes a longitudinal hand support connected to two separate base supports. Each base support has a spring-loaded connection mechanism for rotation between a compact storage position and an active engaged position. The base supports are identical configurations, with a channel through the top of the length for the storage position, a channel through the top of the width for the active position, with a dampening tread covering the bottom of each base support. The longitudinal hand support optionally includes padding for added hand comfort and ring connectors on each end cap to attach to a resistance band.
Abstract:
A swivel mechanism for a rotating cantilever post including a cantilever boom and a post, the swivel mechanism comprising at least one first gear associated with the cantilever boom and at least one second gear rotatably mounted to the post, wherein the at least one second gear is operatively associated with the at least one first gear such that rotation of the at least one second gear causes rotation of the at least one first gear, rotating the cantilever boom relative to the post.
Abstract:
Fire protection apparatus, systems, and methods for addressing a fire with a mist are provided. More particularly, the invention provides systems and their method of design which provide a water mist to address and preferably suppress a fire. The invention further provides systems and methods for total flooding volume protection of a space to address a fire, preferably control, suppress, and more preferably extinguish a fire. The invention further provides atomizing devices for use in such systems and methods.
Abstract:
Network system provides a real-time adaptive recommendation set of documents with a high statistical measure of relevancy to the requestor device. The recommendation set is optimized based on analyzing text of documents of the interest set, categorizing these documents into clusters, extracting keywords representing the themes or concepts of documents in the clusters, and filtering a population of eligible documents accessible to the system utilizing site and or Internet-wide search engines. The system is either automatically or manually invoked and it develops and presents the recommendation set in real-time. The recommendation set may be presented as a greeting, notification, alert, HTML fragment, fax, voicemail, or automatic classification or routing of customer e-mail, personal e-mail, job postings, and offers for sale or exchange.
Abstract:
A mist generating apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a longitudinal axis and comprises first and second opposing surfaces which define a transport fluid nozzle between them. The apparatus also has a working fluid passage having a supply passage connectable to a supply of working fluid, and an outlet on one of the first and second surfaces. The working fluid outlet communicates with the transport fluid nozzle. The transport fluid nozzle has a nozzle inlet connectable to a supply of transport fluid, a nozzle outlet, and a throat portion intermediate the nozzle inlet and nozzle outlet. The nozzle throat has a cross sectional area which is less than that of either the nozzle inlet or the nozzle outlet. The transport fluid nozzle projects radially from the longitudinal axis such that the nozzle defines a rotational angle of at least 5 degrees about the longitudinal axis. A method of generating a mist using the apparatus is also provided.
Abstract:
A decontaminating system (100) comprising a decontaminant reservoir (152), a transport fluid source (160) and a mist generating apparatus (10). The mist generating apparatus (10) has a longitudinal axis and comprises a first fluid passage (38) having a first fluid inlet (18) in fluid communication with the decontaminant reservoir (152) and a first fluid outlet (84), and a second fluid passage (90) having a second fluid inlet (20) in fluid communication with the transport fluid source (160) and a second fluid outlet (94). The first passage (38) surrounds the second fluid passage (90) and the first and second outlets (84, 94) are oriented relative to one another such that they have an angle of incidence between (5) and (30) degrees. The second fluid passage (90) includes a throat portion (92) located between the second fluid inlet (20) and the second fluid outlet (94), the throat portion (92) having a smaller cross sectional area than that of either the second fluid inlet (20) or second fluid outlet (94).
Abstract:
A plant profile game system includes a plant sensor device positioned in proximity to a plant which measures the plant environment and in conjunction with a mobile computing device compares the plant environment to ideal plant conditions for the plant as specified in the plant type profile. Game rewards, points of progression are assigned to the user on a mobile computing device when a plant is cared for correctly.
