Abstract:
A surveillance trailer includes a wheeled chassis and an electronics enclosure mounted atop the wheeled chassis. A first solar power panel is provided for charging a portable power supply and is positioned and oriented so that the first solar power panel extends generally transversely over the ground. A second solar power panel is provided for charging the portable power supply and is positioned and oriented so that the second solar power panel is generally perpendicular to the ground. The surveillance trailer can include an altitude adjustment for tilting the first solar panel to adjust the vertical orientation of the first solar panel to correspond with the local latitude. Also optionally, the surveillance trailer can include a pivoting azimuth mount so that the first solar panel can be pointed toward the sun to better capture the solar energy.
Abstract:
A method of archiving a set of source tables in a database system. Each source table has a plurality of rows. Initially, a consistency point for the set of source tables is established. The database system creates a log record for each change (insert, modify, or delete) effected to a row of the source tables subsequent to the consistency point. Substantially all source table rows are copied to an archive (a data storage object that is external to the database system). Then the accumulated log records for the affected source tables are distilled and appended to the archive.
Abstract:
A counterweight in a reciprocating saw counterbalances a reciprocating shaft assembly adapted to hold a saw blade. The counterweight is supported for reciprocating motion by slides which ride within slots formed in a housing adapted to hold the reciprocating mechanism.
Abstract:
A self-contained surveillance trailer includes a wheeled chassis for selective movement over and resting atop the ground and an electronics enclosure mounted atop the wheeled chassis. Surveillance electronics are mounted within the electronics enclosure. A camera support pole is pivotally mounted atop the wheeled chassis for pivotal motion between a raised position and a lowered position and a surveillance camera is mounted to the camera support pole. A brace extends between the wheeled chassis and the camera support pole for bracing the camera support pole in position. A roller is positioned between the camera support pole and the brace to allow the brace to engage the camera support pole at different positions along the camera support pole as the camera support pole is raised and/or lowered. One or more locks are provided for locking the camera support pole in the raised position.

Abstract:
A system and method for determining information for system components includes a database, an interchanger subsystem, and a product selection subsystem. The database includes information concerning components. An interchanger subsystem receives product parameters from a selected one of the plurality of users. The product parameters specify features of a component. The interchanger subsystem determines a list of interchangeable substitute components from the information in the database. The product selection subsystem receives component information from a selected one of the plurality of users and determines a range of product offerings from the information in the database.
Abstract:
A reciprocating power tool includes a motor operatively connected with a drive assembly for driving a reciprocating shaft, on which a working tool is supported. The reciprocating power tool includes a base so that the tool may stand upright when resting upon the base without the use of external supports. A counterweight positioned inside of the drive housing minimizes vibration. The motor is preferably positioned so that its rotational axis is angled with respect to a longitudinal axis of the reciprocating shaft. This configuration of the motor produces a compact configuration for a reciprocating power tool and helps the tool stand upright upon the base of the tool. A battery may be provided in a cordless embodiment and is advantageously positioned for balancing the tool.
Abstract:
A surveillance pole for supporting a surveillance camera includes a camera support head mounted atop the camera support pole for selective pivotal motion such that the camera support head can be selectively oriented in various orientations. A surveillance camera is mounted to the camera support head. The camera support head can be adapted and configured for pivotal motion or for complete/endless rotation, as desired. Optionally, the camera mounting head is motor driven for pivotal motion relative to the camera support pole. Alternatively, the camera mounting head can be manually movable relative to the camera support pole. Optionally, a lock is provided for securing the camera mounting head in a fixed position relative to the camera support pole. The pole can be a stand-alone pole or part of a self-contained surveillance trailer.
