摘要: An apparatus, method and system for scheduling uplink resources in communication systems. In one embodiment, the apparatus (e.g., user equipment) 300 includes a buffer 340 containing data to be transmitted to an entity (e.g., a base station) 400 of the communication system. The apparatus 300 also includes a processing unit 310 configured to provide a request for the entity 400 for an uplink resource allocation for transmission of the data in the buffer 340 when the data is a first type. The processing unit 310 is also configured to provide a request following a delay period for the entity 400 for an uplink resource allocation for transmission of the data in the buffer 340 when the data is a second type.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for handling a legacy circuit switched communication. A method may include receiving a service request message at a network node on a packet switched network that does not support circuit switched fallback. The method may additionally include determining that the service request message includes a request for establishment of a communication requiring a circuit switched connection and having a user equipment connected to the packet switched network as an end point of the communication. The method may further include releasing the connection between the user equipment and the packet switched network in response to the determination. Corresponding systems and apparatuses are also provided.

摘要: While camped on a first cell with a first access node, it is determined that a second cell of a second access node is a private cell. From information received from a network it is determined that a criteria is satisfied, and conditional on the criteria being satisfied, a unique identifier for a private network of the private cell is decoded. Exemplary embodiments include a method, apparatus and computer readable medium storing a program. In various specific and non-limiting embodiments: being camped on the first cell comprises being in an active RRC CONNECTED state; the information received is broadcast information, the determining is by comparing received L1 ID to a list of locally stored CSG L1 IDs; the received broadcast information comprises a first portion of a TA ID and the criteria being satisfied comprises the first portion matching an entry of a locally stored whitelist.

摘要: A network sends an indication of discontinuous reception period (ldle_Mode_DRX_Period) and an indication of number of paging groups (Paging_Group_Count). Paging occasions for a user equipment are determined by a predetermined formula. One exemplary formula is SFN mod IDLE_Mode_DRX_Period=(IDLE_Mode_DRX_Period div Paging_Group_Count)*(ID) mod (Paging_Group_Count); where SFN is system frame number and ID is the identifier of the user equipment, which can be IMSI or some value derived from IMSI. The UE's temporary ID is sent during a determined paging occasion, which maps to a paging channel on which the page is sent. Options for restricting the paging occasion to less than a frame, and for offsetting the paging occasions from that of the above formula are detailed.

摘要: An adjacent cell is determined to be a private cell, and then a measurement report of it that includes an identifier for the private cell is sent from a UE to the UE's serving network node. Methods, apparatus and computer readable media storing a program are detailed. In exemplary non-limiting embodiments: the identifier is at least a TA ID for the private cell's CSG network, where the UE receives the TA ID over a broadcast channel/system information of the serving network node; the TA ID may be a short TA ID received over a primary broadcast channel of the serving network node; the identifier comprises the TA ID and either a LI cell ID or a CSG cell ID; and if the UE is not a member of the CSG network it the measurement report only in response to a command received from the serving network node.
