摘要: There is provided a method in a device of a cellular network, the method comprising: receiving a user plane data from a source network node of the cellular network; detecting that at least one quality condition with respect to the user plane data transfer is met; and in response to the detecting that the at least one quality condition is met, causing a transmission of an indication for a data forwarding or duplication to a target network node of the cellular network or to the source network node, the data forwarding or duplication causing the source network node to forward or duplicate a user plane data of the device to the target network node.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for WLAN selection. One apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor coupled to the transceiver. The processor is configured to cause the apparatus to receive WLAN selection/routing signaling from a serving PLMN and to identify whether the apparatus is connected to a WLAN. The processor is further configured to cause the apparatus to determine whether to accept the WLAN selection/routing signaling based on whether the apparatus is connected to a WLAN and/or a based on a device configuration. In various embodiments, the WLAN selection/routing signaling is a LWA command, a RCLWI command, or a LWIP command.

摘要: A method is applicable to a terminal supporting a plurality of subscriber identification module (SIM) cards. The method includes that the terminal performs a cell reselection through a first SIM card among a plurality of SIM cards to obtain a cell reselection result. Additionally, the terminal sends the cell reselection result from the first SIM card to a second SIM card among the plurality of SIM cards. Furthermore, the terminal takes a cell indicated by the cell reselection result as a new cell in which the second SIM card is to reside.

摘要: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a first UE. In certain configurations, the first UE operates in an idle or inactive protocol state in a service of a first cell and performs a discovery procedure with a second UE, wherein the discovery procedure includes indicating, to the second UE, an identity of the first cell. The first UE further performs a cell reselection procedure to a second cell, receives, from the second UE, subsequent to the performing the cell reselection procedure, a message for forwarding to the first cell, and sends, to the second UE, a notification message, wherein the notification message includes an indication of an inability to forward the message.

摘要: The disclosed technology is directed towards preventing a handover of a Wi-Fi call to a Fifth Generation (5G) standalone cellular network. In one alternative, a 5G standalone usage setting is disabled on a mobile device when Wi-Fi calling is enabled on the mobile device. In another alternative, a 5G standalone usage setting is disabled on a mobile device when Wi-Fi calling is enabled on the mobile device and the mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, which facilitates camping on a 5G standalone network when the mobile device is not connected to a Wi-Fi network. In yet another alternative, a 5G standalone usage setting is disabled on a mobile device when an evolved packet data gateway (ePDG) tunnel is set up on the mobile device, which similarly facilitates camping on a 5G standalone network when the ePDG tunnel is torn down.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish a first call associated with a first subscriber of the UE. The UE may establish a second call associated with a second subscriber of the UE, wherein the first subscriber and the second subscriber are active contemporaneously, and wherein the first call and the second call are associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may identify a mobility event that associated with an interruption to at least one of the first call and the second call, the mobility event involving switching the first subscriber to a second RAT. The UE may perform a mitigation action. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to signal a capability corresponding to a number of active beams (e.g., active uplink beams) to a base station so that the UE may be appropriately configured, and so that the UE may communicate with the base station accordingly. Furthermore, some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a UE and/or a base station to apply one or more rules and/or conditions to assist with ensuring that a UE capability, corresponding to a number of active beams (e.g., active uplink beams), is not violated, or to prevent the UE from communicating on a beam that is invalid due to a violated UE capability. Furthermore, some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a UE and a base station to perform a beam management procedure upon beam activation to ensure that a beam is of sufficient quality for communications.
