摘要： A method and apparatus for performing an automatic wireless connection with a second digital device by a first digital device is provided. The method includes acquiring, by the first input device, random information used for the wireless connection; checking a status of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN); storing the checked status; setting the WLAN to an Ad-hoc mode; setting a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN using the random information; setting a security key of the WLAN using the random information; and setting an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the WLAN using the random information.

摘要： A method for printing a document of a mobile terminal without a separate printer setup is provided. The method includes performing a wireless auto-connection between a mobile terminal and a printer located near the mobile terminal, and when the mobile terminal transmits a document to be printed to the printer, the printer finds a computer capable of outputting the document, transmits the document to the computer, and prints the document in response to a print instruction received from the computer. Accordingly, a user can print various documents stored in the mobile terminal wherever a printer is located, even without information of the printer.

The information about the portable terminal is commonly used for automatic wireless connection to the digital device. A state of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is checked and activated, and the WLAN is set to an Ad-hoc mode. A Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, a security key of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, and an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the WLAN is automatically set using the acquired portable terminal information.
