A web-supported teleconferencing system interfaces to a hospitality communications system to facilitate teleconferencing capabilities in the hospitality network. The system can include a hospitality communications network component that facilitates hospitality communications, and a web-supported teleconferencing system component that interfaces to the hospitality communications network to facilitate the hospitality communications services. The web-supported teleconferencing system can also communicate via VoIP. The web-supported teleconferencing system facilitates communications to at least one of wired and wireless telephone communications systems and, one-way and two-way communications.

    摘要： A radio/telephony interoperability architecture that facilitates intercommunications between a security services network, elected officials and/or emergency services network and a telephony management system for one-way and two-way security and/or emergency teleconferencing communications. The telephony system creates a session in which one or more session participants can communicate with front-line mobile radio operators (e.g., first responder personnel) and radio band components. Mobile radio systems can be accessed via circuit-switched and packet-switched networks with communications capable of existing between horizontal services entities (e.g., city fire and police) and vertical entities (e.g., city, state, and federal agencies and personnel). Furthermore, the presence of participants and potential participants is provided to authorized users to facilitate the establishment of such conferences. Notifications and alarms are used to alert participants and potential participants of important events.

    摘要： A controller (10) for air conditioning units, heating units, and the like is disclosed. The controller (10) regulates the activation and deactivation of an energy consuming component of the unit, such as a compressor (12) or heating coil (14). The controller (10) includes a switch means (42, 66) operatively connected to the component and its energy source, the switch means (42, 66) being operable in a first mode wherein it interrupts the connection between the energy source and the component, a second mode wherein the connection between the energy source and the component is uninterrupted by the switch means (42, 66). The controller also includes control means (20, 54) operatively connected to the switch means (42, 66) for (a) operating the switch means (42, 66) in one mode when the space temperature exceeds a first predetermined temperature, (b) operating the switch means (42, 66) in the other mode when the space temperature is less than a second predetermined temperature and (c) cycling the switch means (42, 66) between its first and second modes according to a predetermined duty cycle when the space temperature is between the first and second predetermined temperatures.

The communication interface module may include a plurality of data link ports and auto-configuration logic. The auto-configuration logic may be configured to determine a data link type for a data link connected to at least one of the plurality of data link ports and determine whether a local configuration file corresponding to the data link type is available. The auto-configuration logic may be configured to acquire a remote configuration file for the data link from an external source if a local configuration file is not available. The auto-configuration logic may configure the communication interface module, using the local configuration file or the remote configuration file, to communicate over the data link.
