摘要： An arrangement and method for treating cardiac abnormalities and/or inconsistencies are provided. In particular, a fluid is introduced to a target area within a heart of a subject. Preferably, a volume of the target area which receives the fluid is less than a volume of the heart, and the volume of the target area which receives the fluid is independent from a manner of introducing the fluid to the target area. For example, the volume of the target area which receives the fluid is less than the volume of the heart regardless of whether the fluid is introduced systemically or locally. The arrangement may also include an energy source adapted to transmit energy, such as light, to at least one portion of the target area.
