    摘要: In one embodiment of the invention, the engine comprises a rotary-piston, Wankel-type machine having a ceramic-material housing. Within the wall of the housing are confined pluralities of passageways which provide conduits for the conduct therethrough of coolant, for the introduction of a primary or secondary fuel, and for the ignition of the wall-confined-passageway-supplied fuel. The coolant passageways open only externally of the housing, whereby the same supply and discharge coolant to dissipate engine heat. The fuel passageways have openings, which open onto the inner wall of the housing, for supplying air/gasoline-vapor mixture, or methane, or hydrogen, or diesel oil, etc. The ignition passageways confine electrical leads, which leads have a spark-gap interruption formed in each thereof, and also have openings which open onto the inner wall of the housing -- the interruptions being disposed in registry with the openings. Further, the openings in the fuel passageways and the ignition passageways are in immediate adjacency -- to effect controlled combustion. With reference to the direction of piston travel, pairs of fuel and ignition openings are spaced apart along the inner surface of the housing wall so that a cascade-effect combustion can be generated.

    摘要: Camera based inspection equipment is used in conjunction with a multiple-station forming device such as a blow molder for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or PEN bottle manufacturing. The inspection system relies on handling devices that present successive bottles for imaging, and due to their operation with the forming device it is possible to correlate inspection data with individual forming elements and/or transfer elements. A seal surface inspection module, a base/neck fold inspection module and a finish gauge inspection module are integrated into the route of preforms and containers through the container manufacturing equipment such that the inspection system is directed to view the passing bottles as they are carried on the transfer devices needed to load and unload the molder. The base/neck fold examines the lower portion of the bottles in elevation and plan view at the predetermined angle of orientation of the bottles on their longitudinal axes, maintained from the mold cavity to the inspection system, for examining the folds in the bottoms of the bottles. The seal surface module examines the surface to be sealed against a cap, in an axial inspection view. The finish gauge inspection module examines the threads and flanged neck.

Both bomblets are separately enclosed by fragmenting warheads that are positioned in tandem. the tandem bomblet design results in a nesting arrangement of the fragmenting warhead, or sub-munition, to produce maximum packaging efficiency. A forward sub-munition of a tandem bomblet will nest within a cavity of a shaped charge of an aft sub-munition.
