Abstract:
The present invention relates to the front suspension containing elastic (14) and damping (11) elements, for vehicles with front steerable wheel, such as bicycles, motor-bicycles, motorcycles or tricycles. To minimise the total mass of the unsprung suspension elements, by relocating the elastic and the damping elements to the springing side, the suspension contains at least one pull rod (10) connected at one end to the upper part of the front wheel fork (1), able to shift in relation to the fork column (6) of the handle bar (7), and at the other end to the elastic element (14) and/or the damping element (11), supported on at least one end by the vehicle frame (8), wherein the pull rod (10) goes through the handle bar (7) steering axis. The pull rod (10) is preferably led on at least one leading element (16) supported by the vehicle frame. Optionally, the pull rod (10) may be connected on the other end to the fork (18) of the vehicle rear suspension.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a photographic element for digital exposure comprising at least one layer comprising an emulsion of cubic silver iodochloride grain wherein said grain has been sensitized with a gold compound and with less than 1 .mu.mole per silver mole of sulfur.
Abstract:
A silver halide emulsion comprising radiation sensitive silver halide grains exhibiting a face centered cubic crystal lattice structure containing a hexacoordination complex of an iridium ion in which at least half of the coordination sites in the hexacoordination complex are provided by halogen or pseudohalogen ligands, and at least one coordination site is provided by a ligand comprising a azole ring containing a chalcogen atom and a nitrogen atom, wherein the azole ring is substituted at the 5-position with a halide ion. The invention provides emulsions containing with a preferred class of iridium dopants which are especially useful for improving reciprocity performance in silver halide emulsions with minimal or no impact on other aspects of photographic performance. These dopants give a superior balance of reciprocity and other photographic properties compared to other iridium dopants exemplified in the prior art.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method of treating silver chloride emulsions comprising providing a silver chloride emulsion, adding gold and sulfur chemical sensitizers, heating to chemically sensitize said emulsion, cooling to below about 50.degree. C., adding bromide to the emulsion and then after bromide addition adding spectral sensitizing dye.
