    摘要: An improved alternator system for replacing an OEM Ford IAR alternator system. The improved alternator system includes a rectifier with increased heat dissipation qualities and decreased heat generation qualities and configured to maintain secure electrical connections. The alternator system is further configured to provide optimum electrical output by providing the rotor and the stator with additional turns or windings of heavier gauge wire whereby the alternator is capable of inducing a stabilized output current of at least about 52 amperes of current at about 1600 revolutions per minute of the rotor.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a replacement alternator constructed to replace an existing CS-130 alternator in a vehicle where the CS-130 alternator was disposed in a predetermined alternator space within the vehicle. The alternator space has a predetermined length, width and height. The alternator comprises a housing defining an alternator interior space. The housing is sized to fit within the predetermined alternator space. A rotor coil having a plurality of wire windings wound thereabout is disposed in the alternator interior space of the housing and rotatably supported by the housing. The wire windings of the rotor coil have an electrical current flowing therethrough for generating a rotating magnetic field as the rotor coil rotates. Means are provided for selectively rotating the rotor coil at a speed of at least 1600 revolutions per minute. The alternator includes a stator positioned in the rotating magnetic field generated by the rotor coil and supported by the housing. The stator carries a plurality of stator windings wound thereabout in a predetermined configuration to provide an output of the alternator. Means are provided within the alternator interior space of the housing for inducing a stabilized output current of at least about 43 amperes of current at about 1600 revolutions per minute of the rotor coil.

A brush assembly is connected to the voltage regulator and has a pair of brushes adapted to engage a pair of slip rings of the electric generating assembly when the brush assembly is positioned in a slip ring engaging position, the spacing member supports the voltage regulator in a spaced apart relationship relative to the mounting surface of the frame so as to provide an air flow passage between the voltage regulator and the mounting surface for enhancing heat transfer away from the voltage regulator and the spacing member supports the voltage regulator in a spaced apart relationship relative to the brush assembly so as to support the brush assembly in the slip ring engaging position.

    摘要: A portable generator assembly comprising an alternator installable in a vehicle, and a power converter. The alternator includes an AC output port electrically connected to the stator windings of the alternator for receiving the AC output signal, and providing access to the AC output signal such that the AC output signal can provide AC power at a location outside of the alternator's housing. The power converter is provided with a transformer, a frequency changer, and an electrical outlet. The transformer receives the AC output signal from the AC output port and increases the voltage of the AC output signal to at least about 120 V. The frequency changer receives the AC output signal having the increased voltage, and converts the frequency of the AC output signal to a frequency between about 45 to about 65 Hz. The electrical outlet receives the AC output signal having the increased voltage and converted frequency. An electrical implement, such as a hand drill, can be plugged into the electrical outlet so as to provide power for operating the electrical implement.
