摘要:
A system is described that includes a host computer and a client computer. The host computer maintains data defining a set of selectable items, and the client computer executes a user interface module that presents a user interface that includes a first selection mechanism populated with a first subset of the items for selection by a user and a search input. In response to activation of the search input mechanism the user interface module presents a second selection mechanism populated with a second subset of the search items that includes a greater number of the search items than the first subset.

A system is described in which a user interface module presents a user interface having a field set insertion control. In response to actuation of the field set insertion control by a user, the user interface module dynamically inserts one or more sets of input fields into the user interface for receiving input data from the user. As a result, the user need not be forced to utilize forms having static input lists. Dynamic addition of fields may provide a non-limiting way of stylizing a user interface such that the interface may be kept simple and uncluttered.

A logistics management system is described that includes a host computer that performs logistics management tasks for shipment items, and a user interface module that presents a user interface for the host computer. The user interface module presents a user interface to include an item selection region to receive shipment criteria, one or more activity regions to display a set of shipment items that match the shipment criteria, and an action input region to receive action input specifying one or more logistics management tasks. The host computing system automatically performs the specified logistics management task on a plurality of the items in response to the action input received from a user. In this manner, an action may be performed on multiple items related to an overall logistics management task with limited user input required.

A logistics management system (LMS) may include receiving, at a server, a reservation request from a requestor for an allotment on an air carrier's cargo hold for a designated route and date range; assigning, by the server, an allotment category for the requested allotment; generating, by the server, an allotment rate for the requested allotment based, at least in part, upon the designated route and the allotment category; and communicating, from the server to the requestor, the generated allotment rate.

Systems and methods for improving the monitoring of vitals data associated with healthcare cargo in transit are disclosed. Embodiments may include identifying the presence of healthcare cargo based, at least in part, on at least one of a product code and special handling code associated with the healthcare cargo. Embodiments may also include receiving, at a first time instant, vitals data associated with the healthcare cargo. Embodiments may further include storing the received vitals data in memory accessible by the processor. Embodiments may also include determining a first time interval which specifies the approximate time between the first time instant when the vitals data was received and a subsequent time instant at which subsequent vitals data is to be received. Embodiments may further include outputting a notice when a second time interval has elapsed, wherein the second time interval is less than the first time interval.

A logistics management system (LMS) may include receiving, at a server, a reservation request from a requestor for a booking on an air carrier's cargo hold for a designated route; validating, by the server, an availability of the requested booking with the air carrier; generating, by the server, a price quote for the booking; communicating, by the server, the price quote to the requestor; and receiving, by the server, an acceptance of the price and terms from the requestor to form commercial terms for the booking.

A logistics management system (LMS) may include receiving a request from a requestor to change a booking on an air carrier's cargo hold for a designated route; assessing a penalty fee upon the requestor for changing the booking.

A system is described that includes a host computer and a user interface module executing on a client computer. The host computer maintains data for shipment items, and the client computer executes a user interface module that presents a user interface that includes at least one activity region having a preference control input and a set of data fields to display at least a portion of the data associated with the shipment items. In response to activation of the preference control input by a user, the user interface module presents a preference control window to selectively enable and disable the inclusion of each of the data fields within the activity region.

A logistics management system is described that includes a host computer that performs logistics management tasks for shipment items, and a user interface module that presents a user interface for the host computer. The user interface module generates a user interface having windows for performing the logistics management tasks. The user interface module generates each of the windows to include an item selection region to receive criteria for selecting one or more of items associated with the freight shipments, one or more activity regions to receive activity data for the activities, and an action input region to receive action input specifying one of the logistics management tasks. The host computing system processes the activity data captured with a single window to complete the specified logistics management task in response to the action input received from a user.
