    摘要: A carbon sliding strip for a collector has a rupture control device, comprising a pressure line (9) incorporated directly in the carbon strip (1), a device (13) for producing increased pressure in the pressure line and a pressure detector (15), which detects the sudden drop in pressure which occurs if the channel begins to leak. Since at least part of pressure line wall is made directly from the carbon material, the pressure control device responds even to small cracks in the carbon and immediately shows wear and rupture.

    摘要: A collector shoe for a collector with a carbon brush and a support has, between the carbon brush and supporting element, a galvanically applied metallic layer, which, at least at one end, either extends itself over the carbon brush at an angle, its extension which forms an angle being at least partially molded onto the supporting element or embedded into the latter and designed as an electrical connection element, or is linked with an electrical element which extends beyond the carbon brush, forms an angle and is similarly molded onto the supporting element or embedded in the latter. An advantageous process for producing said collector shoe consists producing the carbon brush with excess length, covering it in the metallic layer and then cutting it to length, and consequently bending the projecting metallic layer into the angular shape and embedding it in the directly molded-on supporting element of synthetic material.

    摘要: A sliding body for electric collectors and the like is press-formed from a powder mass or composition which includes at least graphite and a synthetic resin as a bonding agent. The powder mass is pressed in a mold with at least one press die after a thin layer of a resin-free parting compound is applied between the powder mass and the press die to prevent the resin from adhering to the press die when subjected to frictional heat of compression. Powdered copper is the preferred parting compound and also reduces the contact resistance between the press-formed powder mass and a lead embedded in and pressed with the powder mass in the mold.

    摘要: A press-molded collector shoe having a body made of a first carbon piece, and a layer disposed on a side thereof made of a second, less conductive carbon piece. The second piece covers only a portion of the side of the collector shoe. An electrical lead projects from a portion of the side which is not covered by the second piece. During the production of the collector shoe the surface layer is pre-pressed in a separate step and the first carbon piece into which the lead wire is imbedded and the second piece are then pressed together.

    摘要: A method for producing a flat commutator with a hub body formed from insulating molding compound, a plurality of conductor segments and an equally large number of carbon segments, the hub body being molded onto a conductor blank provided with radial grooves, which grooves are filled with molding compound. Then the composite part of conductor blank and hub body is machined on the end face of the conductor blank turned away from the hub body. An annular carbon disk is adhesively bonded to the machined end face of the composite part, whereby electrically conductive connections to the conductor blank or to the conductor segments produced therefrom are established. Finally the annular carbon disk is subdivided into carbon segments by cuts extending into the molding compound that fills the grooves. The conductor blank is then subdivided into conductor segments.
