摘要: The improved mold assembly for cultured marble molding is provided. The mold assembly can comprise a male mold portion and a female mold portion. The assembly can further comprise a molding tool. The molding tool can have a side wall having an upper curved s and a lower curved portion. The molding tool can be constructed from a flexible and/or soft material. The lower curved portion of the molding tool can be coated with a gel coat having a first color. The molding tool can facilitate molding of a countertop having a recessed bowl portion having a color different from a counter portion of the countertop.

摘要: Methods are disclosed for making articles (2) by three-dimensional printing. The methods include three-dimensional printing a build powder mixture which includes a first material powder and a second material powder to form a printed article and subsequently heating the printed article to a temperature at which a sufficient amount of the second material powder melts to enable it to infiltrate throughout the interstices between the first material powder particles so that the article (2) achieves a room temperature relative density of at least 85 percent of its theoretical density, the theoretical density being the density the article (2) would have if it contained no porosity. The first material powder has a melting temperature, melting temperature range, or dissociation temperature which is higher than the melting temperature or melting temperature range of the second material powder and the first material powder has no more than a limited amount of solubility in the second material powder.

摘要: Molded articles preferably for use in a vehicle as a headlamp reflector, lamp socket, shader of vehicle lamp, or vehicle headlamp, and that are highly resistant to heat are disclosed. The molded articles of the present invention include from 70 to 95% (by weight) of an inorganic filler, which is a liquid at the molding temperature and a solid at room temperature, and a thermoplastic binder. The molded article is produced by either injection molding or transfer molding.

摘要: Sound-attenuating mufflers and muffler inserts, and systems and uses of such mufflers and muffler inserts. Continuous fiberglass roving is fed to a pneumatic jet head which fluffs the roving and presents the fluffed roving to a delivery wand at the exit end of the jet head. The delivery wand is moved along a predetermined three-dimensional path such that the wand delivery tip travels along a predetermined three-dimensional path inside a mold while-depositing fluffed fiberglass strands into the mold along the predetermined path. A terminal end portion of a liquid resin conduit is mounted to the fiberglass-dispensing wand, as part of the delivery tip, and drip-feeds liquid resin onto the fiberglass as the fiberglass is being deposited in the mold. The undulating, up and down movement of the delivery tip produces a wave-like undulating pattern in the appearance of the rovings in the resulting molded product.

摘要: A sliding body for electric collectors and the like is press-formed from a powder mass or composition which includes at least graphite and a synthetic resin as a bonding agent. The powder mass is pressed in a mold with at least one press die after a thin layer of a resin-free parting compound is applied between the powder mass and the press die to prevent the resin from adhering to the press die when subjected to frictional heat of compression. Powdered copper is the preferred parting compound and also reduces the contact resistance between the press-formed powder mass and a lead embedded in and pressed with the powder mass in the mold.

摘要: Implant comprising composite powder with microstructured particles, obtained by a process in which large particles are bonded to small particles, wherein the large particles have a mean particle diameter in the range from 10 μm to 10 mm, the large particles comprise at least one polymer, the small particles are arranged on the surface of the large particles and/or are non-homogeneously spread within the large particles, the small particles comprise a calcium salt, the small particles have a mean particle size in the range from 0.01 μm to 1.0 mm, wherein the particles of the composite powder have a mean particle size d50 in the range from 10 μm to less than 200 μm and the fine fraction of the composite powder is less than 50 vol %. Therefore, the subject matter of the invention further are implants obtained by selective laser sintering of a composition comprising a composite powder, especially as an implant for applications in the field of neuro, oral, maxillary, facial, ear, nose and throat surgery as well as of hand, foot, thorax, costal and shoulder surgery.
