摘要： A container system is provided with a container having a door mounted for pivotal reciprocation about a door pivot axis between opened and closed positions. The container system also has a carrier with a body receiving the container and an arm coupled to the body for pivotal reciprocation about an arm pivot axis that is oriented substantially parallel to the door pivot axis. The arm engages the door of the container, and the pivotal reciprocation of the arm reciprocates the door of the container between the opened and closed positions.

摘要： A process for reclaiming and recycling plastic from discarded articles includes dividing discarded materials into a plurality of pieces by mechanical force, removing relatively non-magnetic pieces from the plurality of pieces, separating out relatively heavy pieces from the non-magnetic pieces, segregating relatively non-conductive pieces from the relatively heavy pieces, and reclaiming plastic pieces from the relatively non-conductive pieces. The plastic pieces are processed in an injection molding machine to mold plastic product. A system for reclaiming plastic from discarded materials includes a crusher for dividing the discarded materials into a plurality of pieces, a magnetic separator for removing relatively non-magnetic pieces from the plurality of pieces, an air classifier for separating out relatively heavy pieces from the non-magnetic pieces, an electrostatic separator for segregating relatively non-conductive pieces from the relatively heavy pieces, and a metal detector for separating out plastic pieces from the relatively non-conductive pieces.

摘要： A medical waste disposal system comprising a hood assembly defining a passage therethrough and a disposable container configured to be positioned below the hood assembly and defining an open end sized to receive medical waste. A deck component is configured to be mounted adjacent the open end of the disposable container and defines an opening for the passage of medical waste into the disposable container. The deck component comprises a first connector configured to removably receive the hood assembly and a second connector configured to receive a lid. The lid is configured to substantially close the deck component opening when the lid is positioned on the deck component, thereby blocking the disposal path.

摘要： A medical waste disposal container is made from reclaimed polypropylene in an amount of from greater than 0% to about 40% by weight and virgin polypropylene in an amount of from less than 100% to about 60% by weight. The medical waste disposal container has a puncture resistance of at least about 2.8 lbsf and an impact strength sufficient to prevent medical waste from escaping from the container. The method for forming medical waste disposal containers utilizing reclaimed plastic includes forming a supply of reclaimed pellets from film scraps of a first resin. The reclaimed pellets are combined with virgin pellets of a second resin to form a blend of pellets where the first resin is different from the second resin. The containers are formed by injection molding the blend of pellets.
