Abstract: A hands-free dryer allows for drying of a target while permitting the hands of a user to not be controlling the operation of the hands-free dryer. The hands-free dryer includes a blower for providing air flow, an orientation system allowing the blower to be adjustably oriented at an angle. There is a semi-rigid flexible hose connected to the blower that retains its configuration without the user having to maintain the configuration. Also, there is a support system that provides support for the hands-free dryer while worn by the user.

Abstract: A vestibular training apparatus and method as disclosed and claimed. Wherein the training apparatus comprises a motorized rotational platform, an adjustable body harness, a swivel coupling attached to the adjustable harness, a beam anchor, and pulley system. The pulley system in connection with the beam anchor allows a user to be lifted by the trainer after rotating on the motorized rotational platform, wherein the user continues to rotate after being lifted by the trainer as a result of inertia.

Abstract: A contactless gate position sensor includes an optical time-of-flight sensor positioned within a predetermined proximity of a gate for detecting a closed position of the gate and an open position of the gate. The optical time-of-flight sensor has a predetermined field of view. When a predetermined portion of the gate is within the predetermined field of view, a status of the gate is set to a closed status. When the predetermined portion of the gate is outside the predetermined field of view, the status of the gate is set to an open status. The status is detected by the optical time-of-flight sensor and transmitted using a data communication network.
