摘要: A magnetic fastener system has a first fastener structure with a body having a first side and a second side. At least one of a male or female friction-snap fastener is positioned on the first side. A pocket is formed within the second side and a first magnet positioned therein. A recessed surface formed in an interior of the pocket. A captive wall formed around the recessed surface. A second fastener structure central portion is formed by an inner sidewall. A second magnet positionable within the central portion. An outer sidewall defines a shape of the second fastener structure. The captive wall is removably insertable into a receiving space between the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall. The central portion is removably insertable into the pocket. The first and second fastener structures are magnetically connectable.

At least a third fastener structure is removably connectable to at least one of the male or the female friction-snap fastener.

摘要: An optical device mounting adapter, and system and method for mounting an optical device to a head-worn article are provided. The optical device mounting adapter includes a helmet mount connector. A first arm having a first end is affixed to the helmet mount connector, wherein a second end of the first arm extends away from the helmet mount connector. A second arm is movably attached at a first point to the second end of the first arm, wherein the second arm has an elongated slot formed therein. A mobile support is connected to the second arm, the mobile support having a pin at least partially positioned within the elongated slot, wherein the mobile support is movable along a length of the elongated slot. An optical device connector is affixed to the mobile support.

A locking device is movably mounted proximate to the mounting shoe receiving structure, wherein the locking device is movable in at least a first direction through an upper plane of the mounting shoe receiving structure. A latch handle is movably mounted proximate to the locking device, wherein an engaging structure of the latch handle contacts the locking device, and wherein the latch handle is movable in at least a second direction to engage movement of the locking device in the first direction, wherein the second direction is substantially perpendicular to the first direction.

摘要: A device is disclosed for introducing a flexible elongated element through at least two portions of a subject. The device includes an advancement unit for advancing the flexible elongated element toward the end of the device such that the elongated element may exit from the device with sufficient force to pass through the subject. The device also includes a curved die for imparting a looping configuration to portions of the flexible elongated element exiting the device, and a curved guide for receiving the looped flexible elongated element as it returns to the end of the device. A cutting mechanism is provided to permit the looped flexible elongated element to be separated from the remainder of the flexible elongated element. The cutting mechanism is adapted to deform the trailing end of the looped flexible elongated element so that the trailing end is forced distally, toward the subject being sutured.
