    摘要: A light frequency standard for use as an optical clock is disclosed that is improved by optical pumping. Optical pumping is utilized to change the ground states of the atomic vapor from transition-forbidden to transition-allowed ground states involved in two-photon absorption process. Using an optical pump creates a stronger absorption line signal used for locking the laser to an absolute frequency. An optical spectrometer based upon two-photon absorption is disclosed that is improved by optical pumping, utilizing two optical pumps. The first optical pump provides photons that may combine with probe light for two-photon absorption, but it also depletes absorbing atoms that are in ground states. The second optical pump replenishes the supply of absorbing atoms into ground states allowing two-photon absorption between the first optical pump and the probe light. Two-photon absorption between the second pump light and the probe light is forbidden due to energy mismatch.

Further, at the top of the rod, there is an opening where multiple hook devices can be inserted and interchanged allowing for flexible use of the device.

    摘要: The spill proof bottle (10) disclosed comprises a container (22) suitable for holding a liquid and a lid (12) adapted to fasten to the container (22). The lid (12) has a base (16), a spinner (14), a twister (32) and a seal (20). The base (16) is configured with a channel (30) and a post (18). The post (18) has at least one outlet (28) for directing liquid out of the container (22). The spinner (14) has slots (62) and the twister (32) has complimentary tabs (60) adapted to convert rotational motion of the spinner(14) to vertical motion of the twister (32). The spinner (14) moves vertically from an open state to a closed state and then to a removable state. The seal (20) is fastened to the twister (32) and is adapted to cap the channel (30) preventing the flow of liquid out of the container (22) when in the closed state.

Specifically a 3D scanner is used to create a 3D computer model of a person's foot which is stored in a digital file. The 3D computer foot model is then sent to another location. The 3D model is then used make a bespoke shoe specifically fitted to the 3D foot model, or to create one or more custom lasts for making a bespoke shoe.

    摘要: An automatic locking apparatus mounted to a trash bin is provided. The automatic locking apparatus may also include a pair of lock bar arms and a lock bar that pivots from an unreleased position to a released position. The automatic locking apparatus may include a pivot bar, a biasing mechanism and a pivot rod. The pivot rod may rotate from a locked position to an unlocked position. The pair of lock bar arms may be perpendicularly joined to the pivot bar. The biasing mechanism may be disposed about the pivot bar so as to engage an upper tab provided by the bar pivot rod, when the bar pivot rod is in the locked position. When the pair of lock bar arms rotate to the released position, torque may be transmitted through the pivot bar to the biasing mechanism so as to urge the lock bar arms back to the unreleased position. When the pivot rod may be in the unlocked position the upper tab may be disengaged from the biasing mechanism so as to bypass biasing mechanism, when moving the pivot bar to the released position.
