摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier for carrying a toner image, a drive device for driving the image carrier at a predetermined speed, a control device for giving instruction to the drive device to perform predetermined operation, and a transfer device for nipping a recording sheet with a rotary member at the position opposed to the image carrier and for transferring the toner image on the image carrier onto the recording sheet, wherein the control device gives instruction to the drive device to generate a variation having a phase which is reverse to a phase of a variation given to the predetermined speed of the image carrier by a vibration produced at the time of passage of the recording sheet between the image carrier and the transfer device.

摘要： There is described a method of controlling the rotational peripheral speed of the rotating photoreceptor drum to make it constant. The method includes the steps of: detecting angular velocity signals by means of angular velocity detecting device disposed on an axis of the photoreceptor drum; finding deviations from a reference angular velocity, based on the angular velocity signals; storing a profile of the deviations within a one-revolution of the photoreceptor drum in a storage section, while revising the profile in real-time base; applying an arithmetic processing to an angular velocity signal detected at a current rotational-position of the photoreceptor drum by referring data included in the profile obtained in a preceding one-revolution of the photoreceptor drum; and controlling the motor, based on results of the arithmetic processing for the angular velocity signals, so as to compress the deviations from the reference angular velocity as small as possible.

摘要： There is described an image-forming apparatus having a rotation system constituted by a driving roller, a driven roller and a transfer belt, threaded on both the driving roller and the driven roller. The apparatus includes: a motor to drive the rotation system, a rotational axis of the motor being coupled to the driving roller directly or through a power transmission element disposed between them; a first rotational-velocity controlling section to control a first rotational velocity of the motor; a velocity detecting section to detect a second rotational velocity of the driving roller or the driven roller; and a second rotational-velocity controlling section to also control the first rotational velocity of the motor, based on a detected signal detected by the velocity detecting section. The second rotational-velocity controlling section employs either a feedback controlling method or a feed-forward controlling method to control the first rotational velocity.
